      I'm 18 now, hoping to become an anesthesiologist at age 30. Going into biomedical science (premed) next year, in-order to get into medical school. Fingers crossed!!! I'm guessing you live in America?

      Yes I too would like to know. I am almost done with my undergrad. Have very high GPA and was inducted into a national honors biological association. I am sincerely hoping that the MCAT pans out well for me in a few months when I take it and apply. It is amazing looking back a few years on youtube posts and seeing where I posted two years ago. I did have community college credits back then which transferred to major university. Work hard plus faith = He works for you.

      +greg this field requires tremendous attention, precision and accuracy, along with keeping the patients pain free during surgery. Knowing I will be able to help in such way while my brain is constantly excercising has me feeling so elated that I can't see any other career for myself.

      wow! That was a wonderful way to describe this job. I'm in college right now, and in a few years (7 at the least) I will become a CRNA. We pretty are going to be doing the same thing, haha.

    I'm confused in rather being a nurse anesthetist or a anesthesiologist

    • @anncokafor
      @anncokafor 7 лет назад

      Become a nurse anesthetist. They can now do the same things medically trained anesthesiologist can do but without the debt.

    • @yhoff76
      @yhoff76 7 лет назад

      Same training, far less debt!! Far less time in school and more years to actually enjoy your life and family.

      Those are all good points. The simple fact of the matter is that the practice of anesthesiology is a waste of a medical education.

    • @aleksamacan
      @aleksamacan 4 года назад +2

      @@wholeNwon you are so stupid human being. Have you heard about ICU? The hardest work in hospital is intensive care. Also you need to know the whole anatomy for regional blocks. Physiology, pharmacology, internal medicine, you must know it in little finger.

    • @wholeNwon
      @wholeNwon 4 года назад

      @@aleksamacan Thank you for your kind words. I ran an ICU in a 1000 bed hospital for 23 years and am certified by three boards. I also taught Internal Medicine and cardiovascular medicine in two major medical schools. But perhaps you know more about intensive care than I do.
