This looks so good, that when watching it just for a couple seconds I kinda feel stupid for spoiling myself. I want to experience this for the first time blindly.

I personally don't like forced stealth in a game. I can get over it but it frustrates me when I HAVE to sneak past and area and the stealth in game isn't great. From what I've seen of the gameplay you have uploaded, I'll play this but it won't be a day one purchase, i might even wait until its on sale.
The game looks ok. Not 70 dollars ok but pretty decent. Thanks for the thorough first impressions! Honestly, I'm kinda' reminded of Jedi Fallen Order - that game was mid but the sequel was a decent step up.
There's a lot of resentment towards AAA, to the point where being resentful is trendy. So even if there are scenarios where it isn't warranted, you still see a ton of it now. I am personally still on the fence when it comes to Outlaws. But even if I do buy it, it won't be until they put it on Steam at a discount. Not buying it on EGS.
@@TheAndrewJohnBennettit's up for pre-order right now on EGS. I just double checked. And Ubisoft pretty much always caves in and puts their games on Steam, it just might take a year or two.
@@flackerism I won't disagree, I think the RDR2 comparison is way off, and probably a stupid thing to say on their part. That comparison has nothing to do with the actual quality of their game or my opinion of it though.
Ubisoft has a track record and it’s not great , customers are sick of being burned but I do think a full in depth review is absolutely needed before a buy . Plus Ubisoft just seems like they actually hate there customers in a weird micro transactions ( macro) kinda way
A: People for some weird reason are OBSESSED with the fact the main character doesn't quite look how she does irl. I get that she looks like a fish, and i dont knownwhy they made that choice to have her look that way, its weird too. Whats weirder is how some are saying the whole game will be trash because they dont like how the main character looks. #2: The whole thing with Assassins creed Shadows is leaving a lot of people turned off or on edge by Ubisoft in general #3: Kathy Kennedy has been ruining star wars with terribly written female characters for years. #4: Microtransactions. If you havent yet noticed. I think theres only 3 of 4 reasons to justifiably hate this game.
idk if its just me, but Star Wars characters have always had kinda strange/unique faces including Luke (to be fair, Mark was in a car accident mid Empire production) and even Leia to some degree with her baby-fat cheeks and sunsweep cut. Lando looked like my dad on his wedding night lmao. Starkiller had a really unique face that felt distinctly og Trilogy. Tbh I only ever really saw Han as overtly 'hot' in the traditional sense. I'm happy Outlaws is set in OT era where things are gritty and lived in, where not everyone looks like they just left the salon like in the prequels. Kay even has the 70s mop i love it. For a universe full of unique races and beings its surprising how much weirdos obsess over the humans in SW that dont look like supermodels
I feel like people don’t want to trust this game because it’s made by Ubisoft, and Ubisoft has burned its fans too many times

Funny part is… it’s made by Massive. I’m not sure what a publisher does exactly but the actually development was not Ubisoft.

honestly the more and more I see, the more I like. This is definitely going to scratch my star wars for a non jedi story/setting/game etc.
For me it makes me want to play it less. The more i see to more i see the usual ubisoft prefab games.

Have you played the F.E.A.R. series? That's enemy AI. I love stealth, I'm not a fan of forced stealth. Hope the game is good, but not too confident.
