Is there any possibility of you doing a quick video on how to remove the glass top on a Rangemeaster cooker, please? (Specific issue is that I need to replace the large, dual ring ceramic plate on a Classic 110 Ceramic unit).
I'm having difficulty figuring out how to access/open the glass top.
    Thanks in advance.

Hi Stephen, we don't currently have a ceramic Rangemaster to do a video, you will need to find the screws that hold the glass top in place to gain access to the inside and remember to take photos of the wiring.

(3:47) - What is the point of using a double element hotplate when neither of the elements can be controlled independently, (both rings are supplied from just two conductors)?
Surely these are more expensive to produce than one with a single element, because if one element fails, the hotplate will still get hot making the detection of a single element failure that much more difficult by the user.
Now, Rangemaster cookers are pretty high end so I would expect there to be some kind of notification of a single element. This could be easily (cheaply) achieved by monitoring the supply current to that ring being constantly monitored.
I would expect nothing less from a *_Rangemaster_*
