If a budgie is a male his nose will turn blue in 1 or 2 months after he hatched. Female's have a white, brown or pink nose. So blue is a boy, anything else is a female or still verry young. When you can see a white ring around its eyes the budgie is growing up and the collor of its nose should show its gender accurately
So sad, but thank you for sharing! Very cathartic! I lost my first avian friend last fall… a lovebird that had made it to 14. It was quite awful but when all was said and done I realized hed had a great life and it was for the best he went when he did. Something strange happened his last year and he began taking falls. No matter what we did, hed find a way to get hurt 😢. Eventually he would look at us with his head upside down… sliding it around on counters as this was less painful for him than upright. He passed one night in bed with me. He had fallen asleep inside my hoodie and i couldnt muster the strength to get out pf bed so I caved and fell asleep with him upstairs. I didnt even realize he had passed when i woke up and found hed climbed out of the hoodie. Its quite difficult to lose a feathered friend, but they can have very peaceful passings like this, surrounded by love!
I am so so sorry. Your story makes me cry. That is one of the most difficult ways to lose your lovely bird. I don’t know what to say sorry, I am in tears from your story. I always project things like that on my birds and I can’t stand the thought of something happening like that to them, our parrot lies in our bed too. I can’t imagine how hard that was. Truly admire how you handle it. ❤️
@@Dexenco now im in tears, for both our little ones lol. I felt so strong when i wrote that and now i feel like a puddle of mush! Thanks for saying something, its a little easier to grieve together. I feel so sorry for you. Puk lived his best life with you and his girlfriend. Usually when I feel sad about my pets passing away, I think about how God is probably giving them lots of attention in heaven and telling them stories about how much you love them. I hope you feel better soon🕊️

Thank you so much! They are just family and extremely empathetic. If I cry they cry, if I dance they dance, if I look sad they always come checking what’s up their corresponding sounds. I love them so much. I don’t care if it would be healthy or not to put this amount of money and time into a pet but I’d literally have this relationship than a trillion dollars. Because the true love they have for you is literally priceless ❤️
i’m so sorry for your loss i have a bird that’s a cockatiel he is like 13 he bites me he spends time in his gage and sad and lonely i feel bad for my bird and yours
Thank you ❤️ about your bird, look up some videos on how to train him (even though he is 13). Try to get an idea on what his favorite kind of snack is. Try to slowly become friends and gain his trust. Can take ages but cockatiel that's 13 years old has plenty of time left. All you need is to never be afraid and just gain his trust and take things slowly! Eventually your bird will love you but you need to invest time for that though... If you really don't have time to do that please look -how hard it is- for another owner so your bird can be happy and that should make you happy too ❤️
wait i got that bird from my grandpa that died they didn’t real take care of him but they still loved my bird so we got it from him to take care and of the bird
@@soulsniper_gamer4371 Take care of it really well and I am sorry about your grandpa. @@soulsniper_gamer4371 you really need to be brave around your bird, otherwise he won't stop biting. If you are tensed he'll also get tensed. I hope you'll be best buddies real soon. Wish you all the best! Give kisses to your birdie from my side....😊 ♥️
Live (the band) wrote a great track about that called lightning crashes, and thanks for the congrats, a little unfortunate video to do it in, thank you a lot though I know you were counting those subs with me so I can take it :) ❤️
Thank you a lot ❤️ it still hurts when I think about it and watching the video makes it sad so I never watch it again. His girlfriend is still alive and so playful together with our cockatiels, so that brings some joy. We keep her away from the African Grey to be safe since she can’t fly anymore.
I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️ they can live quite long for such a small bird though if you feed them well and pay enough attention, but they are so vulnerable so any disease can be the end... :( how old was yours?
they lived together and loved each other and died together this video needs more likes this is so sad because one of my birds flew away and my blue bird is alone its name is snowball :(
Sorry for the late reaction, thank you for your kind words, but how is your bird doing now. Only Snowball remained then alone I guess? That sounds so sad:(
It is ok and thank you for at least seeing him, we have another video on the channel featuring him at least, and we have many other birds doing funny things, we will also upload some footage that (maybe sadly we don't know yet) includes him sometimes, but it will mostly be footage of the Parrot and cockatiels :)
Thank you for posting this. This week has been very difficult for me and I just needed someone to cry for instead of myself while cuddling my bird. It takes a lot of courage to post such a personal story. I know he had a long, happy life.
I am so sorry to hear that your week has been difficult. I hope you are slowly recovering or getting help somehow, I of course don't know what happened, if you want to send a private message if it is even possible you can always do so. Seriously sorry to hear that and very glad that this video helped you a bit
Ah I recently had one of my budgies pass away due to the cat at only age 4. He was such a sweet little boy and enjoyed even the worst parts in life. I hope puk and Willo find the best part in heaven for their souls.
Never forget ❤️ that’s another good reason to make memorials like these. Besides it is impossible to forget them anyway in my experience. After years their loss still makes you cry so that says enough.

I cried the whole video because I lost one budgie the second year I had her and my baby cocktail died the 6th day I had him it was I got him on June 20th 2021 he later died on June 26 2021
So sorry to hear that. What happened? Or do you rather keep that private which I will respect and totally understand. Wish you all the best, times get better hopefully but wounds like this hurt more than bullets.
Our vet gave us painkillers and we gave him little drops as prescribed. Birds and most animals try to not show weakness when they are in pain, it’s in their instincts. If they show signs of weakness they are an easy prey in the wild.
2020 in my version: Loosing my bird too ( 5 years old ) Loosing my uncle + aunt And many people left me behind ( mostly my ,, friends " wich arent friends at all ) And now i just found out that i have a heart problem and it can end by death All happend i 2 months of this year and now just think what happend in the rest 10 painful months...
Hey I am so so very sorry to hear that. I honestly would not know how to react, I don't know you in person, but if you have somebody you trust or who is very close to you please ask for a few hugs. I can only send you virtual ones and tell you again about how sorry I am for you. ❤️ Head up and try to make the best of it, how sad or bad something can be, look at the sky. Look around. Nature is beautiful and free. There is always something even if you feel terrible... Again so sorry for you but I can not help you more than by saying this and I am not even sure if I am helping, at least I think about you. ❤️
Im so sorry…I never know what to say to those messages, there aren’t enough words and ‘I’m sorry’ feels so empty to me. I hope you somehow found some comfort over time and maybe this video helped a bit mourning your loss. Much love ❤️
She is more silent and mourning but also just doing normal. She hangs around more with our cockatiels at the moment. I can feel she misses him though and putting her back in her cage alone instead of with Puk still makes me very sad..
Sorry for not replying I was in a bad state mentally, very depressed. These animals work wonders against that but that’s for another time, this one is about you.Very curious what happened eventually, if you don’t want to tell anything that’s ok I will of course respect that.
Turned out he had a disease spreading from his foot. Would’ve had to amputate the foot which would’ve given him up to 5 more years. His girlfriend for example is still going strong at 14 years old, it’s amazing how old such small animals can become when taken proper care of.

i’m so sorry for your loss i have a bird that’s a cockatiel he is like 13 he bites me he spends time in his gage and sad and lonely i feel bad for my bird and yours
If you really don't have time to do that please look -how hard it is- for another owner so your bird can be happy and that should make you happy too ❤️
@@Dexenco yes i will train him i’m like to young to go to work i have plenty of time to train him thanks for the advice
wait i got that bird from my grandpa that died they didn’t real take care of him but they still loved my bird so we got it from him to take care and of the bird
@@soulsniper_gamer4371 Take care of it really well and I am sorry about your grandpa. Be patient with the cockatiel, do not be afraid of his bites he will stop eventually and if you talk softly and give him the food he likes and play with him slowly he will gain trust and eventually you will be best friends
@@soulsniper_gamer4371 you really need to be brave around your bird, otherwise he won't stop biting. If you are tensed he'll also get tensed. I hope you'll be best buddies real soon. Wish you all the best! Give kisses to your birdie from my side....😊 ♥️
Life is litteraly like this someone dies and someone born's R.I.P your budgie =(
And a quick note CONGRATULATIONS on 1k subs but sadly
Live (the band) wrote a great track about that called lightning crashes, and thanks for the congrats, a little unfortunate video to do it in, thank you a lot though I know you were counting those subs with me so I can take it :) ❤️
Thanks for the respond!!

So sorry for your loss. I love birds and this hurts me to the core hope you recover soon
Thank you a lot ❤️ it still hurts when I think about it and watching the video makes it sad so I never watch it again. His girlfriend is still alive and so playful together with our cockatiels, so that brings some joy. We keep her away from the African Grey to be safe since she can’t fly anymore.
I had a budgie and now its past away, budgies have too short life 💔.
I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️ they can live quite long for such a small bird though if you feed them well and pay enough attention, but they are so vulnerable so any disease can be the end... :( how old was yours?
@@Dexenco about 3 years.
@@koreapop3004 That is too young I am very sorry to hear that :( They can live well over 10 years,up to 15-20 years if I am not mistaken.
@@Dexenco yea, but just in the nature can live long :(.
they lived together and loved each other and died together this video needs more likes this is so sad because one of my birds flew away and my blue bird is alone its name is snowball :(
Sorry for the late reaction, thank you for your kind words, but how is your bird doing now. Only Snowball remained then alone I guess? That sounds so sad:(
Its my first time seeing ur video (youtube recommended this) so sad😢.. saw him for the first n last time😭💔
It is ok and thank you for at least seeing him, we have another video on the channel featuring him at least, and we have many other birds doing funny things, we will also upload some footage that (maybe sadly we don't know yet) includes him sometimes, but it will mostly be footage of the Parrot and cockatiels :)
Rest in peace 🙏🏾
Fly high budgie.
Yo this got me crying a bit🥺🥺😭
That is ok, thank you for your compassion ❤️
Thanks for talking back to me
@@liljeff431 No problem at all
rest in peace puk :(
He can rest now after being wáy too active during his entire life, but that's how budgies work, thank you ❤️
Ah I recently had one of my budgies pass away due to the cat at only age 4. He was such a sweet little boy and enjoyed even the worst parts in life. I hope puk and Willo find the best part in heaven for their souls.
OMG IK GONNA CRYYYY NOOOO
Its ok we cry with you
oh :( but dont cry he will be in heaven watching you :)
Thank you ❤️ I still cry though it’s part of being human and part of life, sometimes you are hurt
😭 sad... keep getting more birds but don't forgot the old ones
Never forget ❤️ that’s another good reason to make memorials like these. Besides it is impossible to forget them anyway in my experience. After years their loss still makes you cry so that says enough.
Godbless y'all! God always loves you he is also always with you! Have a nice day! Stay safe and healthy! If ur under pressure God is always there with you ! I hope u achieve your dreams ! ✝😇❤😇!!!!!! I HOPE YOU BELIEVE IN GOD!!!
I know how it is, in the past I have lost many pets, animals in general and every time it hurts but I know that my loved ones are happy now. R.I.P you're little birb
Edit: my budgie is you're little bibs twin she looks just like you're little birb
Thank you for your kind words. It was tough like you described it.
Sorry for the late reaction, personal stuff happened which in the end mattered more than uploading videos, health kind of overrules everything.
Luckily I’m back now though, filled with ambition and support and I’m thrilled to upload more videos again :)
This made me cry so hard😭😭 I'm just glad he had a good time on earth like in heaven!❤️ He was whith his family at his last breath~he will fly high up above~he will miss you like you miss him~he loved you to the vary end~💖 you gave him hope~love~and care~and he will always be there for you like you where fr him!~💖❤️💝 ~∆To: Puk∆~

Is no one gonna talk about Budgie living for 11 years
I mean that's very sad lose someone after knowing them for 11 years
I feal sorry for you
It is ok I still cry and it has been some time now. 11 years is a long time and I have told him my deepest secrets and feelings and he responded with a kiss. He saw a bit of the world on some moving trips and he died painless with his girlfriend close and they were surrounded by his humans and birdie friends. We miss him oh so much but this is life. Thank you though ❤️

I cried the whole video because I lost one budgie the second year I had her and my baby cocktail died the 6th day I had him it was I got him on June 20th 2021 he later died on June 26 2021
💛💛
My little Gilbert died too.. after hitting the wall with his head so many times
I lost my African grey at 1 years old this year :(
So sorry to hear that. What happened? Or do you rather keep that private which I will respect and totally understand. Wish you all the best, times get better hopefully but wounds like this hurt more than bullets.
He is now crossing the rainbow Bridge
Thank you, he really is, thats where we meet again, i love that❤️
This kinda sad too see😭
:( sad
my bird died, at least I know she's not in pain anymore.
I am so sorry for you, big hug to you!
I also have two birds one is yellow and other is light blue I think my yellow is dying slowly or he is very sleepy all the time
I hope he is doing well right now?
😞😞😞God do so bad
Out of curiousity, what do you mean exactly?
How would you know that he had no pain?
Our vet gave us painkillers and we gave him little drops as prescribed. Birds and most animals try to not show weakness when they are in pain, it’s in their instincts. If they show signs of weakness they are an easy prey in the wild.
2020 in my version:
Loosing my bird too ( 5 years old )
Loosing my uncle + aunt
And many people left me behind ( mostly my ,, friends " wich arent friends at all )
And now i just found out that i have a heart problem and it can end by death
All happend i 2 months of this year and now just think what happend in the rest 10 painful months...
My baby was only 2 and he passed away today
Im so sorry…I never know what to say to those messages, there aren’t enough words and ‘I’m sorry’ feels so empty to me. I hope you somehow found some comfort over time and maybe this video helped a bit mourning your loss. Much love ❤️
How is his girlfriend doing? I know that deaths can have a very harsh affect on birds
She is more silent and mourning but also just doing normal. She hangs around more with our cockatiels at the moment. I can feel she misses him though and putting her back in her cage alone instead of with Puk still makes me very sad..
@@Dexenco that is sad. They are so smart, they really understand death. At least she has other friends like you and the cockatiels to keep her company
@@Conifer_kestrel We all do our best to have the best time together until the, sad life, inevitable end...
My parakeet is dying too I feel so depressing
Sorry for not replying I was in a bad state mentally, very depressed. These animals work wonders against that but that’s for another time, this one is about you.Very curious what happened eventually, if you don’t want to tell anything that’s ok I will of course respect that.
I also just lose a budgie too
I’m sorry to hear that :( I hope he had a great long and happy life!
obviously died from olde age, 11 years old??? he had a nice life 😔
Turned out he had a disease spreading from his foot. Would’ve had to amputate the foot which would’ve given him up to 5 more years. His girlfriend for example is still going strong at 14 years old, it’s amazing how old such small animals can become when taken proper care of.

Beautiful budgie you have 😊
My budgie flew in wall and hit his head full speed then blood poured out of his eye and he flapped around for 30 seconds then died.. what happened.
That sounds horrific, what a terrible way to lose your budgie… they are very fragile little creatures..
At least it wasn’t a painful death
