The editing in your videos is, for me, is what adds that extra something special to your vids. to make it more like a work of art. That is a big factor in why I continue to enjoy your vids weeks after the game's release. That and the quality of content and great structure of the content in your vids... Just wanted to say thanks for creating something that I can enjoy with the young ones in my family as well.
Has anyone else noticed that they got rid of the grass that would jump out that would be an indicator that would mean that there was maybe a Pokemon in that spot
because it "maybe" meant there was a pokemon in that spot, it was simply too confusing as to what it actually was (and many thought it was basically cosmetic) i wouldn't be surprised if they took it out because it wasn't clear what it did or meant.
It’s ok. I started the day the game opened, but they then changed so many things and ruined the game I didn’t play for 4 years. Then I went back in because my friends said it was awesome. They ended up fixing a lot of the things they ruined, and now 4 years later the game is fun again.
You probably don't hear this enough, but I really appreciate the work you put into your transitions. Makes the videos look really, really professional.
Nick is such an interesting, enthusiastic, and clear narrator. I thoroughly enjoy all of his videos revealing recent updates, testing his theories, and showing new findings. It's been a lot of fun.
So I did a similar pokestop egg thing as you are doing. Collected 7 5km eggs from about 5 or 6 pokestops in a zone that almost *only* spawns Magikarp, Tentacools and Poliwags... They just hatched this morning and I got: Slowpoke x 2 Vulpix x 1 Goldeen x 1 Abra x 1 Doduo x1 Nidoran x 1 As far as I'm concerned going forward, where you collect your eggs has very little influence on the Pokemon you hatch...
Nick is such a great youtuber. He's truthful, doesn't use click bait, always gets straight to the point instead of making you look for the title, has some really great camera transitions. He's all around great. You've gained a new sub.
You know what I fucking love, in every single episode, Nick makes reference to comments people have left. This means that 100%, fan interaction and comments are read, feels nice to be seen and heard
Best part about you is that you aren't clickbait, and you tell the part we want at the very start, also I don't mind watching the rest of the video as it's quite entertaining.
I hardly even play Pokemon Go as much anymore, but I still watch all of your videos every day. They're just really fun to watch. One of the best RUclipsrs out there right now.
Really appreciate how you do lessons at the beginning of the videos rather than in the middle or end! No click bait, just awesome informative videos. Keep up the great work!
The cinematography in these videos is just unreal. Everything moves so smoothly and the camera is just amazing. Every single thing about these videos is amazing, especially on the Hawaii trip. My favorite Pokemon channel by far
I love that you show part of your life and family. I've watched some other Pokemon players that are so over the top and obnoxious. You seem like a genuinely nice guy. Great channel!
I love your channel, I don't play Pokemon go regularly but I just hit level 20 all because of your tips. I like that you are straight forward, no gimmick, no click-baits. keep it that way!
After watching today's curveball episode, I must say your one spin smooth motion style works for me. I've been making more accurate curve ball throws and have been getting more "nice" & "great" throws. Thanks Nick.
+Trainer Tips have you noticed that lately they haven't been awarding xp for curveballs? I started noticing at first when I was getting great and excellent throws that sometimes I wouldn't get the xp for the curveball and now it seems like I don't get the bonus xp. Just curious if you were experiencing that as well or not. For me I started seeing the lack of curveball bonus about 2 days ago.
+Trainer Tips recently I have been getting the bonus Xp for a curveball when I throw a normal throw it doesn't happen all the time but it's started doing this to me since the update
Do you think that there has to be a certain arc size that the game requires in order to award the bonus? I have noticed that sometimes the arc isn't super big when i don't get the bonus. Maybe that's my problem.
I have noticed this as well. I am not sure if I am trying to throw fast enough or I somehow for a split second stop spinning the ball right before I throw. Regardless, the ball appears to curve on screen when I throw curveball even if I don't get the bonus. Before the update, I was getting consistent extra co. With the new update, about half the time.
dude... your transitions! the nap transition from the corridor to hitting the bed. your editing shreds, Nick. as does your PoGo content. keep up the great work.
Hey nick I just wanted you to know that I love that you do this as a vlog and instructional thing together. Your shots and music are great and it's really refreshing to make each episode more personable in your own way rather than just walking around catching Pokemon. I subscribed because I genuinely enjoy the story you tell each video. Thanks for the great content.
I have an important question, I haven't evolved any of my pokemons. Here's the question, I have like a ton of candy a and I mean a ton more then 500 to 600 for most of them and for magikarp I have like almost 1600. What should I do? Make a video, or let nick do the evolving video with my pokemons. Like so he can see, it's really important plus I'm level 24! Let me know guys would be much appreciated
I'd say the title is clickbait, but this guy has better advice than anyone I've ever seen make a Pokemon Go video, and isn't as bad when it comes to clickbait. So thank you Trainer Tips.
Your editing has improved every episode. Your adventures is always fun to watch. Your voice is chill and not irritating. The people you introduce to us seems to be very nice people. Keep up the great work!!!!
The way you edit your videos is awesome. Its not easy pulling off the fluid transitions that you do, the way that you do. It seams almost effortless. You could probably be really successful doing RUclips full time. You also have a great personality and you are respectful. Which is a breath of fresh air considering most RUclipsrs. You just seem very personable and i really enjoy the content that you create.
Nice episode! Loved the 'falling into nap' transition followed by time lapse windy trees into people along walkway ending in +Trainer Tips entering frame. ++1
dude i love how you really explain the details from the game clearly, and dont use fake thumbnails like: OMG HE CAUGHT A MEWTWO or smth like that to attract viewers. Not to mention your edition and filming skills are so good. keep it up man :D
I watch several Pokémon go videos a day but I always watch this channel first because it is on point and concise! As an older Pokémon go player I need these kinds of tips because my peers do not play this game much and I'm in the dark about common knowledge lol. So, thank you Nick!
Out of the other channels I watch for Pokémon Go which is literally only ImMarksman and Trainer Tips, you guys provide the best info and tips. All the other channels I see like Ali A or Tmartn are clickbait videos and annoying
I've found the best way to do it (also can be done one handed) is a quick, single loop without spinning ahead of time. Hard to describe but gonna try. Place thumb on ball, go up and to the left and hook (like your making an upside down 6) and fling quickly to the right towards the middle of your device. This has always landed "Greats" for me with the occasional excellent and has been the best method I could find. BTW, your content is amazing. It's nice to have a RUclipsr that's not catering to a "mine craft audience" and cares more about making videos with a purpose instead of random stuff trying to earn more views. Keep it up and Team Instinct FTW!
Best pokemon go channel on RUclips! Can prove or disprove what the XS and XL by the height and weight have to do with evolving. Been told that XL's by those stats evolve a stronger pokemon than the normal and XS's.
You put so much effort into editing these videos to make them pleasing to watch. I can't even imagine the time it takes you outside of all your footage to edit something cohesive together. Keep it up.
Hands down, this channel has the BEST pokemon go videos, but I think it would be A LOT better if you avoid having too much non-pokemon content. Keep up the good work :D
Thank you for this! I watched this the other night after trying to convince another player to throw an excellent curveball for me, after watching this video, I went over to OCCC, loaded up all my boosts and started practicing - I got an excellent, and finally my Mew before my boosts ran out!
Okay I don't know if you've been told this before, but I absolutely love all your little camera/editing tricks. They're so simple yet they make the video so much better. GREAT content, keep it up! :)
Lol. You sound like a decent human being. Thanks for being mannered and humble. That's the biggest reason for subscribing, then comes your informative videos.
I have noticed another mechanic to throws. If you start with your pokeball at the bottom of the screen even if you throw it all the way to the top it wont go far. This seems like an underhand throw. If you start your pokeball slightly higher than where it starts and do the same motion. It will go faster and much further. More like an overhand throw. Love the videos! Keep up the good work!
The quality of these videos is unparallel to any other RUclips creator I've ever watched. Keep up the good work TT, and I hope to continue watching your content for a long time
IMO, this is the best Pokemon GO channel on RUclips.
Agreed.
Yess
+Dean Bennett obvious 😌
Definitely
yup!
The editing in your videos is, for me, is what adds that extra something special to your vids. to make it more like a work of art. I honestly think Nick is the only Pokemon go youtuber who doesn't need clickbait thumbnails or titles to get views, keep up the amazing work Nick!
:D
Has anyone else noticed that they got rid of the grass that would jump out that would be an indicator that would mean that there was maybe a Pokemon in that spot
Now you say it...i haven't seen rustelung grass in a while🤔
I think that was taken away with the updated tracker. I'd love to see it back, too.
because it "maybe" meant there was a pokemon in that spot, it was simply too confusing as to what it actually was (and many thought it was basically cosmetic)
i wouldn't be surprised if they took it out because it wasn't clear what it did or meant.
no one appreciates your screen transitions! they're dope!
I've been waiting for this comment😌
+Steve Hefferman (Madhatter) me too
YES
I do. He loves to just hop through time.
Agreed, those water surfacing transitions were great
I'm four years late, but still helps me..
So, thanks. :D
Same, just started last month
Haha
Lol I'm 5
It’s ok. I started the day the game opened, but they then changed so many things and ruined the game I didn’t play for 4 years. Then I went back in because my friends said it was awesome. They ended up fixing a lot of the things they ruined, and now 4 years later the game is fun again.
damn man those editings are on point good job bro

nothing that great with the editing a few motion cuts which are pretty simple

You probably don't hear this enough, but I really appreciate the work you put into your transitions. Makes the videos look really, really professional.
I always look up to you when I play Pokemon. Thanks for informing me and everyone reading this, have a nice day!
Trying to fish some likes huh..
+Cheezyboi or hes just being polite?
+Sunny D The "everyone reading this have a nice day" is a popular type to fish some likes if you watch other RUclips videos comment sections..
to everyone reading this... GFY!!!
Have A Nice Day Too
You Smart ! You Very Smart , I Appreciate That
Nick is such an interesting, enthusiastic, and clear narrator.

Goldeen x 1
Abra x 1
Doduo x1
Nidoran x 1
As far as I'm concerned going forward, where you collect your eggs has very little influence on the Pokemon you hatch...
I should add that Vulpix, Abra and Doduo are all very rare for where I live...
Also adding; I just picked up 7 more eggs 5k & 2k from a big Pikachu nest.
+shmaveyea nice research
Nick is such a great youtuber. He's truthful, doesn't use click bait, always gets straight to the point instead of making you look for the title, has some really great camera transitions. He's all around great. You've gained a new sub.
I'm so happy right now I just got 400 pidgey candy and now I will evolve it to a pidgeydos
a pidgeydos?
+Tuur Peters I think he is meaning by the Gyarados and Magikarp candies, bruh.
+Erick Arzate or he discovered the first ditto

Still the best Pokemon channel by far. No nonsense, no screaming, no clickbait. Keep it up
0:44 A kitten walked underneath that table! It's so cute!
Oh wait... Nick noticed it too and featured it in his video...oops
Lmao I be doing the same shit, commenting before the vids over lmao
Definitely my favorite Pokemon RUclipsr. Original and not fake. No clickbait, just a genuine youtuber with a passion for the game. Great work Nick
Best pokemon go RUclipsr!

Agreed!
absolutely agree!
me 2 agreed
forsure no one is as good as trainer tips by far.
Yep!
You know what I fucking love, in every single episode, Nick makes reference to comments people have left. This means that 100%, fan interaction and comments are read, feels nice to be seen and heard
Your transitions are very creative, nice work man. Also, loving the Above&Beyond shirt, much love.

The only PokemonGo Player with no click bait👍
Nick is the best channel to watch on Pokémon. Every other channel is just click bait bullshit.
Best part about you is that you aren't clickbait, and you tell the part we want at the very start, also I don't mind watching the rest of the video as it's quite entertaining.
Nice above and beyond shirt!
Massive thumbs up to you for noticing!
Yes Anjunafam :) What a magical tour that was. Great channel by the way, been loving it.
you beat me to it hahaha
I hardly even play Pokemon Go as much anymore, but I still watch all of your videos every day. They're just really fun to watch. One of the best RUclipsrs out there right now.

The cinematography in these videos is just unreal. Everything moves so smoothly and the camera is just amazing. Every single thing about these videos is amazing, especially on the Hawaii trip. My favorite Pokemon channel by far
I swear your snorkeling montage is good enough to be featured on National Geographic.
I love that you show part of your life and family. I've watched some other Pokemon players that are so over the top and obnoxious. You seem like a genuinely nice guy. Great channel!
thank u for all the tips u give us :)
your curvball throw tips have gotten me more catches and more consistency with great and throws
I just started playing a month ago. Thanks for all the amazing advice! It's awesome that you've made this your job - anything's possible 💖
I love your channel, I don't play Pokemon go regularly but I just hit level 20 all because of your tips. I like that you are straight forward, no gimmick, no click-baits. keep it that way!
Hey man a kiwi isn't a Hawaiian bird, it's native to New Zealand.
After watching today's curveball episode, I must say your one spin smooth motion style works for me. I've been making more accurate curve ball throws and have been getting more "nice" & "great" throws. Thanks Nick.
im new to this channel and i have to say....
his editing is on fleek
I love this guy he used pokemon go to make content without using clickbait. And when he does use clickbait-y titles he delivers.
You're a cool guy, your brother is adorable, subscribed
+Your tips are really useful too

Personally, I feel like the bonus has become more consistent recently.
sometimes I lack the bonus too, but most of the time I get it
+Trainer Tips recently I have been getting the bonus Xp for a curveball when I throw a normal throw it doesn't happen all the time but it's started doing this to me since the update

I like how he's so explicitly detailed
I actually find it a little easier to throw curve balls sometimes haha
love the camera transitions!
+Zinja I only throw curveballs so i find it easier haha
ikr
+Zinja oh yes
Same! Especially when the Pokemon is rare and far away!
Young trainer tips is so crazy to watch!! He's always had such a great passion for the game.
This is what Casey Neistat Videos would be like if he uploaded Pokemon Go

WOW the editing is smooth dude! xD

I'd gladly watch +1h videos by this guy. So relaxing to watch these PoGo vlogs.
Like for the cat
This combination of pokémon go and VLOG really makes your videos much better than any other pokémon go video. Keep going like this, Nick!
Out of total camera/editor nerd curiosity, what camera are you shooting on, and what underwater rig are you using?
Sony A6000, GoPro Session :)
I have an important question, I haven't evolved any of my pokemons. Casey Neistat or Trainer Tips? I cant tell.
He is a genius by mixing two of my favorite things in lvl Casey type of vlogging and Pokemon go
Fuck off!
Casey
there isn't really any channel more casey neistat of pokemon go than this.
You know there can be other vloggers, right? Nick is actually very creative with his editing and would not compare His style to Caseys
Your editing has improved every episode. Your adventures is always fun to watch. Your voice is chill and not irritating. The people you introduce to us seems to be very nice people. Keep up the great work!!!!
cool, from now on you are team Chicken 🐔

As a TV and video producer I gotta say, love your edits and especially the transitions between shots. Keep up the quality work Nick.
I watch several Pokémon go videos a day but I always watch this channel first because it is on point and concise! As an older Pokémon go player I need these kinds of tips because my peers do not play this game much and I'm in the dark about common knowledge lol. So, thank you Nick!
If this channel becomes a full time vlog channel I'm all for it!
I really wasn't sure if this curveball method would be as easy as he makes it look, but I tried and got it first try! Thanks Nick!
Out of the other channels I watch for Pokémon Go which is literally only ImMarksman and Trainer Tips, you guys provide the best info and tips. All the other channels I see like Ali A or Tmartn are clickbait videos and annoying
Who loves the way he actually gets straight to the point of the video that he advertises in the title?
I've found the best way to do it (also can be done one handed) is a quick, single loop without spinning ahead of time. Hard to describe but gonna try. Place thumb on ball, go up and to the left and hook (like your making an upside down 6) and fling quickly to the right towards the middle of your device. This has always landed "Greats" for me with the occasional excellent and has been the best method I could find. BTW, your content is amazing. It's nice to have a RUclipsr that's not catering to a "mine craft audience" and cares more about making videos with a purpose instead of random stuff trying to earn more views. Keep it up and Team Instinct FTW!
...when you say upside 6 instead of saying 9.....oops
Best pokemon go channel on RUclips! Can prove or disprove what the XS and XL by the height and weight have to do with evolving. Been told that XL's by those stats evolve a stronger pokemon than the normal and XS's.
You don't like sand? The force must be strong with this one.
Dude.....thank you. Literally the only vid to help me learn the curve throw. Can't tell how many balls I wasted trying the other ways.
Nothing better than saving your videos for the end of my day while sitting back in my bed eating snacks. Thanks!
I'm really enjoying these videos. The snorkeling sequence was nicely done in this one. I like that they're not ALL about Pokémon.
Haven't been able to play Pokemon Go for a week now, I think, or more and yet still watching these episodes.
Keep up the good work :D
holy moly Nick where did you learn to make so good transitions? You make every video so fluid and organic its so interesting to watch
Thank you for this! I watched this the other night after trying to convince another player to throw an excellent curveball for me, after watching this video, I went over to OCCC, loaded up all my boosts and started practicing - I got an excellent, and finally my Mew before my boosts ran out!
Nick is living it up! Commenting cause this dude deserves the RUclips revenue 😂
It's crazy how fast this channel has grown
I must say Nick, you have a very beautiful way of capturing footage, that snorkeling footage was amazing, I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
edits are getting better every episode
Okay I don't know if you've been told this before, but I absolutely love all your little camera/editing tricks. They're so simple yet they make the video so much better. GREAT content, keep it up! :)
You can see your passion in making film in your videos. Find what you love and make a career of it. You are doing a great job!
I still watch these vids. Your editing, background montage music with the occasional talk adds a lot to being creative with your vids.👍😁
Crazy good tip as far as the Curveball. Definitely works better than sitting there spinning the ball before release.
Lol. You sound like a decent human being. Thanks for being mannered and humble. That's the biggest reason for subscribing, then comes your informative videos.
Best pokemon go youtuber ever, and in my top 5 favorite youtubers overall.
I have noticed another mechanic to throws. If you start with your pokeball at the bottom of the screen even if you throw it all the way to the top it wont go far. This seems like an underhand throw. the editing and the music catches me off guard every time. it's amazing and i forget i'm here for pokemon go
Can we talk about how satisfying the camera spin transitions are?
Are we just not going recognize how amazing his camera transitions are?
This guy is so cool, just so layed back and chilled
