I think they have mixed both of them :D Surti undhiyu does not have this much red chilli powder, in fact it just doesn't look red at all. And kathiyawadi undhiyu does not have this much sugar in it. It will alws be oily and bit spicy and very very tasty. Also surti undhiyu does not have the methi muthiya in it.

You can find videos of making dalma and ghanta
If you enjoy to test UNDHIYA, please visit Gujarat during winter, in December or January . Peopl enjoy jalebi, cholafali, fafda etc with this food item.

Itni poshak Dish koi nahi. Winter me milne wali Sari gunkari sabjiya isme hoti hai. Surti Papdi ( valol) jab milne lage tabhi ye sabji banti hai.
Undhiyu aur Jalebi uttarayan ( kite flying day) ki Main Dish hoti hai.
Ek uttarayan Jivan me Ahmedabad, Surat, Mahesana, Palanpur, Vadodara, Rajkot jaise shahero me karni chahiye. Itni masti maja kisi aur tyohar me nahi hoti.

It's not kathiyawadi undhiyu, they don't know how to cook undhiyu, all kathiyawadi in Surat lineup at surti shops for undhiyu
