    These are beautiful flowers, thank you. It would be helpful if you could use slightly dirty water to show us your initial step of putting water onto the paper - it’s impossible to see the shape you are creating or the amount of water you’re using when there is no contrast between the water and the paper.

    I am new to watercolour. Can you explain why you apply just water to begin, on some of them?

    • @caileyslittletail
      @caileyslittletail  5 месяцев назад

      For sure! Applying just water on the paper before adding paint is called the 'wet-on-wet' technique. It's great for achieving softer blends between different colors, helping to create a natural gradient💗💗

    This is a great lesson. Please post your lessons in real time instead of speeding them up. There is nothing worse than trying to keep up with speed painting. It’s not conducive to learning. Thank you for your lessons.

      Thank you so much for your feedback. Yes, indeed. Currently, I am posting new landscape videos in real-time, and I am also working on slowing down my earlier videos like this. Thank you again for your comment🌷🌷🥳

      @Bearwithme560 6 месяцев назад +1

      I found slowing down the speed to say, .75X (and turning on captions if the slowed-down voice is annoying), works very well for fast videos.
      Too add, it's funny how our brains work: at 1.5 times speed l still found it easy to follow. Just stop and rewind if necessary.

    • @gabyd.530
      @gabyd.530 6 месяцев назад +1

      It is very easy to slow down in settings. You can always turn off the sound if the slow talking annoys you.
