You know it’s funny, that chord progression on the strings was driving me crazy first time I heard it. It just sounded so familiar and I couldn’t place it. Thought it was gonna turn out to be some video game soundtrack or boss music. Turns out that progression is ver similar to the progressions in the Attack on Titan Op 3 and Op 1 to a lesser extent. I mean I know a lot of music in similar timings end up sounding Similar, but I am curious if that was at all intentional or inspired. Probably not, but it is always cool to see somewhat outside of the box or more niche inspirations incorporated by larger artists. As it’s fascinating seeing where artists derive the inspirations from. Admittedly this is probably a coincidence, but it does sound really good.

I’ll definitely be curious how they perform it live and how many people make the connection. Seemed like the last show I went to did have a disproportionate amount of weebs, so prolly decent odds.
