Best thing to do is take a daily Lactobacillus probiotic supplement. That's what I ended up doing.

I’ve had ongoing bv for the past two years. Not many symptoms. Very bloated always with back pain and though I don’t smell anything myself I keep going back to the doctor bc I do notice other people smelling me and acting disgusted and each time j go to the doctor it’s bv. Most recently it’s bv accompanied with frequent uti’s. It’s gotten so bad that even a urologist doesn’t know what to think… I keep looking for answers and seeing if there’s more treatment but nothing has worked. Very depressing to continue living like that. No friends. No sexual life whatsoever and not even diets of probiotics or boric or anythinggggg works. I just LIVE with the shame and embarrassment everyday

Hey you are not alone I've had it twice try to not use anything with fragrance I use a Vagisil PH Balance Daily Wash and you can buy Gels and Pessaries to treat it and Antibiotics but the Antibiotics for it are horrible ent they? The Sexual Health Clinic says some women are more prone to it than others. I don't use fragranced washing powder try that too. Xxxx

Maybe try going for a while without underwear if you can, I think airing out the space can help with it. Our hoohas aren’t meant to be covered so the moisture can easily throw off the balance. The first time I had it, I was given medicinal creams, it was summer and I was a sweaty child. It didn’t come back for years because I had learnt excess moisture can trigger it. Then I had it again years later (like 7-8 years later) and I had triggered it with a combo that included excess moisture. I aired it out and waited till my period and it cleared. Now is my third time, few years later again , I’m gonna go commando again and I think it’ll clear again

Facts it’s sad the doctors not saying that, and they try to make it seem as if it’s not a std that’s so weird, and honestly for right now I don’t feel it’s curable. Yes you can take all these different things to keep it under control, But it’s not making it go away. You have to keep taking those things like boric acid etc. Also it’s connected to HIV. These are the things we don’t want to hear and the doctors not telling us about or learning, but having bv make you prone to hiv. Matter of fact a lot of women had bv before they got hiv. So it’s so fucking sad how these Doctors are handling this BV situation.

Ladies, I would suggest starting w mom, can ibtalak to you about something in private, and just simple say i think i have a yeast infection and need to see a doc, if things go too long it can cause other issues. Things i do that help is i only use dove unscented, monistate w boric acid is also very helpful, and sometimes using a little deorderant perferably mitchum solid, inbetween your lips and outer lips can really help a lot just a little. Look at it as no difference then putting deoderant under your arms, but see a doc before anything ladies
