You're also often out there first because they take you to the airport doors by secret passages in wheelchairs and they get your bags themselves ! I loved every single one of them ❤

As an actually disabled person, I can confirm that flight attendants don't actually treat us very well. It's sad that these fakers are giving us real disabled people a bad rep. Also, me and my family get off like everyone else even though we're disabled because the flight attendants don't care basically.

I had problems with my legs a few years ago and couldn't walk fast at all so I was able to get on first and walked slowly off the plane and sat on my bag until they were able to get a chair for me the changing flight I had to walk off the plane cause none were available and luck8ly they had a cart that picked me up.
That's so reminds me the one job I worked at years ago a lot of people had had doctors notes that they couldn't do heavy work. So they hired a new HR director who sent out a letter saying if the injury did not happen on the job then they are to go home and heal. The next day they had doctors release forms stacked up pretty high, almost as if Jesus had walked through and healed everyone.😅😅😅
Us legally blind people do actually wear sunglasses all the time because some blindness can make eyes super sensitive to light still. But yeah I do see what you mean.

But once you got them through security, they turned into Irish dancers and marathon runners. we got to the point where we just make them run to the plane because there really wasn't enough transport to take that many paxs to the plane.
@@SharonRepici most of ours are real too, just the Turkish flights that's the worst for it. The worst is, we'll already have forty odd booked, but they tell others at the airport to come to us so the numbers go up. We are always short staffed so there isn't enough of us for the number of paxs.
I use special assistance and have learned not to bother even looking up from my book until everyone else is off the plane. It's very relaxing, which helps my other problem of anxiety!

I am disabled and I am okay with getting off the plane last. I get on the plan first and leave last. It is just how things work.
