I just want to say I appreciate Camila’s character so much! Just, like, the fact that she is one! The typical Disney parent archetype is either “dumb or dead” (tell me I’m wrong) and that’s not what we see Camila in The Owl House. Sure, she may begin in the “dumb” category with her actions in ep1, but she turns around so fast when she realizes what affects that had on Luz, and she’s so accepting and gracious about everything in “Thanks To Them.” Not to mention, she was the first to really recognize what was bothering Luz under the radar and that shows immense growth in her observation and open-mindedness. I don’t even need to explain how incredible it is that Camila recognized her own mistakes in pushing Luz away and that she admits this/apologizes to her face! I mean, come on! 🥹👏✨ I just think it’s the coolest thing to watch a parent be a dynamic character and watch them not only have their own awesome character arc but also benefit so many other characters at the same time!! That’s👏freaking👏cool!👏 Anyway, hope you enjoyed my extended AMV! 😄✨
I agree with this so much!! Between Camila and Eda, this show does such a good job with portraying parents. I too was amazed to find a show with a teen protagonist where the parent was alive and important to the story, and Camila’s growth from s1 to s3 is incredible!! Even the way she goes from trying to get Luz to leave the isles to accepting that she shouldn’t, takes in 4 magic kids off the street (5 if you count Vee) because Luz needed her too and takes care of them all for months, and helps her child through her guilt her guilt in a way no one else could, she’s just such an amazing character and I’m so glad we got a chance to see her before the show ends!! love their scene in FtF so much, whenever I see it it makes me wanna cry. I can’t wait to see more of her and Luz’s dynamic in the finale, as I think excluding the plot with the owl fam, the collector, and Belos/Raine, their relationship has been the most interesting part of s3. And plus I just love them

This is absolutely incredible!! I love how you updated with the recent episode! I agree about Camilla! It's amazing to see a well written parent on TOH! Luz and Camilla's bond is so incredibly written! Ending this edit on how Luz finally felt understood by Camilla made me so emotional! Love this!❤️

I was wondering if you’d be interested in doing an AMV for King and Eda, since FtF really highlighted their relationship? I think their parent child dynamic is a sweet one that often gets overlooked by fans. No pressure tho, if you don’t want to I get it. 2. How do you add quotes into your AMVs so well? Whenever I try it makes the audio go funny lol.
Thank you! 🥰✨ That is a good idea, I’ll keep it in mind if I find the right song… it might end up being similar to my “Separate Ways” King AMV, but including 4theFuture scenes is a good idea too. So I actually screen recorded the scenes quotes and just layered them on top of the song’s audio (which was also screen-recorded) and I just messed with the volume so that they’d all come out evenly heard. I use iMovie to edit. 😉👍 lmk if that answers your question

@@RaedaPhoenix Yeah, idk either… specifically: I detach all audio pieces and put them all in the ‘foreground,’ bc sometimes there’s differences in volumes btwn foreground, background, and still-attached-to-the-clip audio. That and maybe don’t quote too heavily bc my “Wild World AMV” got blocked forever not too long ago bc TOH is cracking down on that stuff more now ☹️💔
