Personally I favor the 208, largest "small boat" around; small enough to tow comfortably and large enough to take on serious ocean conditions. Perfect for my uses
On this boat, would it be an advantage to run 2 Seven Marine 627HPx2=1254HP vs. the 350x3=1050HP HP to weight wise?? Not necessarily dollar wise. Sevens are pricey I know that.
They never sealed the transoms properly when made of wood. You would pull out a scupper and bare wood would be in the hole. Same thing for the cap. Not sealed causing the transoms to rot out.

Insurance costs increase for outboard 400 and up, and some insurance companies wont insure anything over 375 HP per outboard as of 2019.
