😂😂 someone still bitter 😂😂
Only spurs fans think the season is done after 5 games 🙄
They have played no one yet. They have had many good starts. Just like many many teams have. Question is are they really better we shall see as it goes on. If they didnt have a boost frok a new manager they would be screwed before it even got started.
Look at these haters 🤢 you guys like this sport for the wrong reason
I love that line from Shearer "To be early is to be on time. To be on time is to be late and to be late is fuxking unacceptable" 😅
Honestly the best idea these 3 going out and doing this on their own terms
love how honest micah is
Appreciate the bond , banter , analysis and stories thank you guys
Hi guys I've only just started watching and listening to you on RUclips, I have to say I at times suffer with severe depression and also PTSD, from being in the forces young lad in northern Ireland. You guys have got me through some uncomfortable times when I'm low and feeling down. Keep up the great work, and just wanna say thanks, I've been in stitches laughing at you 3. Especially big Meeks, he's absolutely hilarious an I'm hard to please, I'm a Scouser. Great stuff guys
Shearer nailed it. You have to look at the owners for the clubs current crisis. The club is Toxic and they're to blame.
Sweary Shearer is always speaking sense and I love him for it even more the absolute legend!!
That Brighton 16.2m... they're not overhyping it, in this market that is absolutely mind-blowing
Goes to show how incredible sir Alex ferguson was both on and off the pitch ever since he retired the club hasn't been the same
Neither has the world, or the game, or the pampered fairys that now play.
Fergie wouldn’t survive in this modern day
yet he survived three generations of players. Such an ignorant comment. @@willbancroft8918
History repeating itself post busby. Was inevitable
A great podcast this. Three different characters. Say what you like about Lineker but all in all he is a class act.
Your chemistry is outstanding ❤
These podcasts are absolutely amazing!. So much laughter and joy!. Thank you so much!
Alan's brilliant. I'd run through a wall for that guy.
Ive stumbled upon this podcast through youtube shorts, i dont have a huge interest or indeed any knowledge about football, that said I obviously know Gary & Alan.
But by ek, im loving this pod cast. 3 mates who all know their subject, all with fantastic anekdotes and banter between them all, its just great.
Thanks for putting it together.
The production is great, the hosting is top notch and it is incredibly great viewing.
I've been saying this for years - ManUtd are no longer a footballing force. No one was ever going to replace Ferguson and, instead of having a 5-year plan of rebuilding from scratch, they've run around like headless chickens. Maybe it's time for Ferguson to step away from the club, because his shadow still looms large, being a constant reminder of past glories.
No this is all Ronald's fault dont forget. 🙄
Well said, your 100% correct l. Ferguson still being involved is not helping the club at all
10/10 comment
Ten Hag has his faults too but we've been here before, first Moyes was the main issue, then LVG, then Mourinho, then ole, when are certain players that have been here for 7 or 8 years held accountable, board members?
100% agree
I blame the sausage in the logo.
What players been there for that long?
Moyes wasn't an issue, he was never given a chance. The only person who wanted moyes at the club was SAF. Moyes' days were numbered the moment he signed the contract.
Phil Jones, Maguire coming to age, Dalot is there about 5/6 years (not any part of the problem) are the only ones that come to mind. Not many

Fantastic podcast. Best football podcast out here especially since Tifo stopped their's
My whole opinion on Shearer has changed because of this podcast, I used to think he was a bland and fairly miserable bloke but he's got a great sense of humour
Love watching this podcast keep it coming the onscreen chemistry is so real comes across so well without all the rules of bbc or any other broadcasting companies
Grew up with a similar phrase as Alan’s imprinted on me since I could remember :
There is no such thing as “on time”, you’re either late or you’re early.
Another good episode and really enjoyed the flow of this one, keep them coming fellas.
i love this podcast so much i do wish they added wrighty as a fourth as i think him with micah would be hillarious but overall please no matter what dont stop this podcast
Rashford who is Sancho's mate, was fine for coming in late and he was professional enough to not repeat it again. Sancho needs to big up. As a manager, I certainly want my staff to come in on time because there are rules in the building. Usually, the best staff are the most punctual ones because they take their job seriously and professionally.
Sancho wasn't late
@@yingyang1008rashford was but he turn up in training I could blame ten hag if was sancho first time
The only reason Rashford didnt get that treatment was beacuse he needed him. He didnt need Ronaldo he does not want Maguire and he does not like Sancho, this is obvs.
Nice one lads! Keep up the good work!
Most sense I’ve heard spoken about man united ownership from shearer a non- man united fan!! Loving the podcast lads
Have to say I love this podcast too much, can't wait for each epissode!
Same feeling every week
My favourite channel now! - keep it up lads, love it
Absolute quality lads ,Fucking fantastic listen / Watch. Very much appreciated & Thank you ❤️
Well done lads. Very entertaining.
DON'T BE *BLEEPING* LATE THEN!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful podcast, perfect listen while working out on the exercise bike.
Shearer thanking ange was class made me chuckle ❤ haaland exists tho Alan 😂
Haaland will be long gone before he gets there hes of to madrid end of contract
Brilliant as usual lads. Laughing out loud at work 😂
Class as usual lads, brilliant ❤
Another brilliant episode well done lads keep it up!!
How did you watch it all in 2 minutes it out 15 mins ago😊
@@donkingbong420 cos I already knew it was gonna be brilliant did it disappoint? 😇
Loving the podcast, someone get Alan some acoustic pannels for just birthday or something. Will soak up those echo’s a treat!
In football at some point you will lose games but it's how quick you can recover. Mindset is key & Victory is the door.
Glad to finally see Brighton getting some love from the guys!
This pod should already be at 500,000 to a million subscirbers... folks are lost.
😂😂 love this podcast lineker is a legend only striker I hated Liverpool playing against as a kid and was amazing for England
Ten hag spent like 370 mil got nothing at all to do with glazers Brighton squad cost just 18 mil
Excellent podcast subscribed😉
Great pod as always!
You haven’t even watched the video yet, it’s only been posted 8 minutes

Another great podcast loved Micah's story about Remi Garde.
Great Great Podcast guys!
I’m really enjoying this podcast
Ten Hag calling out Sancho was a great deflection from his 90 million signing having to go back to Brazil to fight sexual assault allegations. The focus has been on Sancho ever since!
Leave one to the courts thanks
I think saying that United aren’t playing well because of the Glazer situation is a cop out. And at the end of the day United have spent a ridiculous amount on players
City just won the treble and also outspent us loool meanwhile we’re loaning players🤣 playing shit but cos we have shit players, all trickles down from the top
@@alisoyupak2730 near on every starting 11 player you have you bought for 50mil+ no?
Billion spent by Chelsea how many managers gone through already 3 poch soon be 4 ya money automatically =success why aren't other clubs above Brighton then
@@alisoyupak2730exactly sack few more managers they still not get it
5 loans signings by Manchester United imagine that what big clubs have 1 loan player nevermind 5
Love the pod! Small note, Lima is at sea level. Quito and La Paz are at altitude. 🌎 😂
Great show.
I just cant imagine Linekar playing as a winger. I was lucky enough to see Gary and Gazza play at Maine Road in the early 90's. Gazza scored a nice goal, cassic Hummel yellow kit. The white one was a thing of beauty too.
Luv this podcast keep it up lads so funny
Some great stories from you guys. Being a Saints supporter, I need cheering up. Keep up the good work.
I must admit I was fascinated by Gary’s glasses. He looked like a startled owl.
Thought the white patches were reflection at first but probably steaming up due to the lighting.
Gaining traction towards being the best football podcast at the moment...kudos
I f****** love you Alan, my mom taught me the same about punctuality and I agree with you if regular people can be fired for being late, why do they get to be exceptions just cause they are athletes
Yet another cracking episode.
Great point about Sterling
Re Sancho & what Micah said: maybe Ten Hag has grown tired of dealing with Sancho with an arm round the shoulder as it hasn't produced results over the past year (already given him time off to get things right in Holland, probably tried other stuff too) and this was the final straw for a player, no doubt outrageously talented, who hasn't twigged if the rumours are true about time keeping. It's been said elsewhere, but maybe a public statement, however innocuous he felt it was, was an effort to provoke a spark. Clearly Sancho didn't see it that way.
He wasn't late
Far better plauers than sancho faded away
Its easy to get rid of added time just stop the clock as they do in Ice Hockey when the play stops then you only play 90mins
They stop the clock and just add it on at the end it’s the same thing lmao
@@alisoyupak2730 Yes but you are fooled to think its 45mins instead of 45mins +10 👍
@@neilt1889 it’s the same amount played either way mate
Really appreciate this podcast and the brilliant coverage. Thank you gentlemen. Question for you all, Who do you guys feel are the best cdm players over the last 30 years?
If you care to go back forty/thirty years John Wark
Busquets, Rijkaard, Makelele, Alonso, Sammer, Rodri and Pirlo come to mind
I wouldn't really include the likes of Keane, Davids, Gattuso, Vieira and Kante, much more like box to box players.
Fabrizio Romano said the best CDM over the last 20-30 years is Casemiro
Tottenham playing luv it❤.West Ham fan here
Spot on Alan 😂 I'm always 5 or 10 minutes early for work. If I arrive on time I count it late 😂
I'm with Alan on the timekeeping thing 😂
It's funny that Alan Shearer and Roy Keane are both so obsessed with being early.
35:01 Ohh hell yea I remember that monster Nigel De Jong 🤣😭😭🤣 absolutely loved him he kicked and smashed folks left and right. He even gave I think Rooney a kick to the chest and only got a yellow
Best football podcast out there by quite a long way now. Was never much a fan of you Gary but your personality comes out much more on these podcasts and it's great to see.
Absolutely love this show ❤
Still prefer the overlap but it’s refreshing listening to the stories they share even if I did here half of them on bbc sounds
Like what Alan said. It's true, until the very top, meaning Glazzers just get the F out of Man United, this issue will always happen and affected players and team as a whole.
Could be worse, you could have Ashley in charge
Yes, Antony and Mason are beating their girlfriends because of the Glazers. Grow up!
Terrible defending from Joel glazer on Saturday!
The 8 years of glazers ownership had very similar success to the 8 years before that.
Since Fergy left the club has had similar, or slightly higher av league position, success as the 10 years before Fergy took over
It fester and spreads united have got great players and managers last 10 years we are no better
How the other half live
I work as a manager of tesco....I have staff members that show up on time they do the job, I have staff members that show up on time and sometimes struggle and I have staff members that can show up late, do their aisle and still help the stragglers...I'd never take them out the team...sometimes life gets in the way
nice one
I find the quite funny how Alan Shearer ton changes when he talks about Jadon Sancho and how he talks about Richarlison. The contradiction in sympathy is ironic when he adds his own experience in
18:03 simple answer if the players don’t like long matches: STOP WASTING TIME 😂 All we need is a clock like they have in rugby where is stops if the ball isn’t in play. We would never get past 90 mins.
The best football show ever.
Minutes are the new currency in football. Not starts. Listen to Arteta - he talks about “starters and finishers” a lot. Indicating he has a squad he thinks can contribute and change games from the bench. Only the very best play every game these days. Messi, Saka, Salah, Kane. The players job is to make sure they’re available when they’re needed. Even if that’s from the bench.
Great job men.
Top top podcast
The boys are back.
No put any top manager in at United and they will fail. Until all of the rotten eggs are moved out this will be a continual cycle. These players get managers sacked for fun and to shift blame.
I would love to ask Alan, how was it playing with Tino? Love the podcast!
I can’t believe that Brighton whole team was worth 16 mil 🤯
Brightons team cost 16m is crazy in today's game. Whoever their scouts and financial people are, are doing a hella of a job.
Imo Ten hag is the last of the worries at United as mentioned it all stems from the top. how fans after 5 games have turned on the manager already is a joke. the club is poisoned with a toxic fanbase when last season United probably over-achieved. The fact that Ten Hag is the one making most decisions on who they sign is worrying, no top club leaves it all down to the manager its what a recruitment team is for and needing a DOF. It seems fans don't see that and just blame the manager. yes manager can take blame for some things of course but there's far bigger issues that aren't being looked at.
Manchester United's issues are way above Ten Hag. The problem at United is that the expectation is to compete for the highest honors but the board do not make it easy for the manager to really challenge at all. For example, Maguire staying and signing Evans is shambolic business. If the board are going to make decisions like that then you might as well lower the standards and expectations of United as a whole. You can't expect to win titles making dumb decisions like that time and time again. Just be honest. Top 4 is all United care about nowadays
If Luton had those two players you'd think, hmm ok not great
Most of Liverpool's title drought was under an incompetent Arthur Moores who inherited the club from his family. Moores never built anything successful on his own. The Glazer brothers are of the same ilk, never built anything significant on their own. Liverpool's ownership group now comprises of self-made men, one of whom literally grew up in soy bean farm and traded the commodity to make his first millions before forraying into sport ownership and Brighton's owner is of the same ilk.
Literally at the airport going to Peru to climb Machu Picchu. Thanks for the pep talk about how hard altitude is for you elite athletes haha.
Went to finally see Linekers hatrick and all the goals are the most lineker goals you could imagine , 1 tap in , 1 deflected shot and 1vs 1 goal 😂
Players aren't playing more minutes with the extra time in matches though because teams can change half their team during matches now. Teams regularly make 5 or more changes.
Its all down to the DOF simple... that aside on pitch performances are down to ETH.
"That's a bit harsh" 😂😂😂
Shearer got that motto from the blacklist
If you're late at most jobs you get a warning and then disciplinary...if you're then late again you could lose your job. The amount of money that footballers earn 10% of their weekly wage amounts to some peoples yearly salaries. They really take for granted what a blessed life they lead and they can easily live after getting fined, but then complain of unfair treatment. People get sacked for being late in most jobs!!!
Lineker needs to talk about the fair play award he got for never being booked in his entire career?
I like miccah but it does annoy me how slowly he speaks. It's as if he's saying something so profound the listener needs time to digest his wisdom.
😂😂
He goes into a off topic story and gary has to bring it back he's like a kid micah
maybe you could make use of the playback feature if you want him to speak faster.
you couldn't live in USA then
Micah preaches football ❤
Ten Hag is Dutch and he has that culture - very open to point of rudeness compared to an Englishman; understanding and able to compromise, which will get interpreted as indecisiveness; very confident of his capabilities and not afraid to state what his team can do, which sounds detached or arrogant if things don't work out.
Nevertheless he is a top modern manager. That said, the statistics show that a manager is responsible for 5-10% of the result, the players for the vast majority.
yeah, and he's signed a bunch of the players for hundreds of millions
If not performing in training in Holland you won't play end of
Shearer heeft ons kapot gemaakt in 96 groetjes uit Rotterdam..

Gary I love ya, in my opinion, which means nowt. You are England's greatest ever striker.
These videos are censored now? That's a poor decision indeed, a huge part of the enjoyment of these videos is that they come across like a chat between three mates rather than just another BBC-mandated program
It will be for algorithms, monetising and to attract wider advertisers.
