      one time i was fishing in a lake, i casted spinner as soon it touched the water the bass took it. i taught it was a branch but i was surprised it was a fish😀

      Do you remember the tectorial video like after you bought it? It was VHS tape the dude was hammered drunk. I remember he would say you gotta get your needle nose pliers, like he was out all night on the ripper stumbling on the dock. Oh man, I miss those days.

      My mom would get so pissed I would grab the lunch meat and head to the fishing hole. I would catch so many panfish and bullhead on pepperoni and salami. Occasionally, catch a snapper turtle, too.

    You could tape off your shoe and only flex seal a high wear spot. Multple coatings would probably be better too. Also use black flexseal to not get the white all over. I've put roll on bed liner on the toe of work boots.

    My dad still talks about the banjos. My grandmother bought him some and he kinda laughed about them, then started busting smallmouths and realized they were the real deal.

    Fun fact, peacock bass aren't actually part of the true bass or sunfish family. They are part of the cichlid family, like the oscar.

    I remember when that first came out. It was advertised on TV, like QvC but field & stream on Sunday Mornings. I bought all kinds of rubber lures as a kid from that channel. It looks so real in the water & all types of fish will hit it. From fresh water to salt❗💯

    Those fish will eat anything. Try a cigarette butt(spread open as a flower) followed by a tootsie rolled. Never fails!

    In Florida when it comes to Bass fishing even peacock bass if you find a bed that they're laying on they will attack anything that goes in front of them

    I can’t tell you how many bass I’ve caught with banjo minnows. It was always my go to bait for large and small mouth bass never failed me. I never had more first cast catches with anything else.

    None of the banjo minnows released after the original have been as good as the original. They need to soften the plastic to about the density of a senko.

    People don't realize how deadly these baits are on light spinning tackle 😅
    When I was a kid I caught a 7lb spotted bass on one of these.
    The previous day I had been fishing 60ft deep and then I went out the next morning off of a shallow bank and sight casted into my pb bass and it ripped so much drag I could literally see the water from the day prior flying off of my reel like smoke!
