- We were wrong about the Disco Biscuits. After 20+ years of hearing a lot of negativity, we finally went to our first show and we were blown away. The energy, the jams, the crowd - it was all amazing. This was their Halloween 2023 show and they played some truly killer sets, including a Pink Floyd cover of "Run Like Hell" that was out of this world.
If you're a fan of jam bands, or if you've just been curious about the Disco Biscuits, I highly recommend tuning out the noise and checking them out. You won't be disappointed.

Bisco scene and the fan base have evolved just like phish imo. We have def matured, and the vibes just keep getting better!
I'm so proud of my favorite band right now. It's been an incredible year for us.
And the admission at 1:55 genuinely surprised me. But it kinda tracks... We barely listen to the albums. It's all about queuing up a 40 minute 2 song jam sammich, which never makes it into an algorithm like that
Great point re the jamwich! And when I do want that long jam I usually have my “go to’s” from over the years. Now adding Biscuits to that!

I discovered them in 2001 when I was 31 years old and a festival vendor. Jerry was gone and Phish were on hiatus. I had 2 little kids and I really didn’t need another band. Now I’m getting ready to turn 54 next Friday at the Silver Spring, MD show and it’s my 90th show. The band also just bought art off of me for a hat and sticker. BEST BAND EVER!!!!

Have been seeing them since '98 and they are straight crushing it right now. So glad new fans are popping up and old heads are finally realizing the joy that is the nasty, nasty Biscuits.

I'm not going to lie I always have fun at biscuits shows. I've seen them all over red rocks, denver, philly, baltimore, DC, multiple festivals. My only complaint is the dynamics of biscuits jams are the same for every song. untz untz untz. build, build, build, drop. repeat.
some sets yeah. other sets or shows just very blissful type Jams. they change it up alot. Austin tx was straight untz then other runs are less untzy
