The class 37 was B.R's most reliable engine, still in use today, well done English Electric

Nice 37/7!! The early 37 is my favourite diesel locomotive.

Love the class37. Can’t wait for the tt120 version next year. Hope they do the earlier liveries.

Hats of to you guys for yet another exclusive model, it is very nice indeed in my opinion, I thought you might have teamed up with Accurascale to maybe produce a Network rail yellow livery locomotive, I know your a big fan of the livery when you review items that carry it, thanks for sharing.

I was too late to order the sound fitted version, so ordered the DCC Ready. You say the DCC sound version has the driven roof fan. Surely this is on the DCC ready as well but will need the enhanced sound decoder to get the full functionality of it? According to the Accurascale news 8th october:
Not only that, but the investment in additional tooling for these locomotives (as they are quite different to anything we have done before, including the modern Class 37/4s) meant we could add in some new features. So, for the first time, a working fan will be included in all models and the body shells will feature all new tooling, with separately applied bonnet top doors, enhanced grilles and more introduced onto the models.

If it part of run 3 accurascale website says the fan will work on dc but dcc it will depend on engine load

One thing that is probably nit picking, but I've never seen anybody put a figurine in the cab as a Loco engineer.

As stated many times in the past, our company is Key Publishing. We produce a magazine called 'Hornby Magazine' We are not Hornby Model Railways. We license the name 'Hornby' for the title of the magazine only.

The light lenses were not white on any re-furbished class 37! This has totally ruined the look.... the high intensity lights were also clear glass on all BR loco's and why model it with white buffers and red beams? it was only like this for a very short while before been covered in grime, think i'll stick to my excellent Bachmann 37702 LTD Edition model cheers.
