PB community: "How did nobody notice that a ship the size of Mauretania still exists?!" PB community when the Mauretania is literally sitting directly in front of them: (I needed to rewatch the episode to notice her, too)
Some may already know this, but if you look closely to Olympic's starboard side, you can see the silhouette of Mauretania just floating around. At around 0:52 or 0:53.
Here's what seems to have happened with Oscar: He was sent onboard the ship at night to do some recording or routine investigation work. He may have been new to the job and was sent here since this ship is considered the safest. As he's walking, he hears the mesh singing and follows it to a hallway. He provokes the mesh somehow, causing it to chase him through the halls. Oscar ducks into an elevator to escape, unaware that the mesh can operate machnery. As he's going up, the mesh takes control of the elevator, while something grabs Oscar and pulls him into the doorway. The mesh uses the elevator door to repeatedly crush Oscar's head. While he is dying, Oscar's phone seems to automatically call someone, recording him wheezing and whimpering right before the elevator smashes into his skull, and probably the phone too. He was most likely calling for help, but wasn't capable of speech. As an additional consequence, the mesh has apparently spread further up the ship as it chased Oscar.
Dude all I have to say is well… I’m speechless this series is too damn good the cinematography, the lighting, the animation, everything is so perfect this might be controversial but this has to be hands down the best analog horror series I have ever seen. I also have one request for you please (and only if you want to) make the series finale a movie on RUclips I don’t care what anyone says I want this series finale to be a movie 🎥
11:15 You can hear subtle screams along with the banging. This maybe implies that a creature was already down there. It can also mean that his creature might have completely mangled the camera man, creating the mesh that we see. Edit: 13:08 This call could is definitely the cameraman we saw earlier, trying to call for help but then dying to the mesh/whatever creature is down there
Late discovery, and this is gonna take some time to explain, but 0:33 The white rectangles near the bottom of Olympic's poop deck (that is, the little white squares to either side of her rearmost cargo cranes) are wire reels. On Titanic in the previous videos, thee wire reels were identical in size, but on Olympic, the port side one is WAY larger than her starboard side one. Wire reels were used, among other things, for towing (normally on Titanic and Olympic, they'd be used for warping, a method of navigating the ship around the harbor without the assistance of tugs). Thus, I think the enlarged wire reel on the right implies that Olympic came out here, knowing that she'd have to tow a ship. Also in this frame is the very end of Olympic's stern, where a VERY massive anchor resides. Compare the silhouette here to the size of Titanic's stern anchor (in roughly the same spot but shifted over to starboard slightly) in the previous video. Again, this thing is GARGANTUAN compared to anything Titanic has even within PB. This anchor is mostly used for kedging, a way of navigating a ship (or getting it unstuck) in streams and rivers, particularly if they have soft riverbeds. Its presence here suggests to me that Olympic came out here expecting to have an increased mass as she moves up a river. It seems to me like Olympic entered the North Atlantic, FULLY EXPECTING to run into a ghost ship-maybe even Mauretania specifically-and be tasked with towing her to Newcastle down the River Tyne ...something that makes perfect sense for CAPTAIN MCINTYRE (same last name as the person who compiled the February 1988 Mesh Report after Oscar's death) to be ready for!
I am only at this Video right now (I know i started pretty late into the Series) But what i could also think is that there was some sort of bounty for whoever finds the Maurithania and thats why it had them on. But maybe your theory got allready proven right.
Okay, we have a lot to unpack, so we got a great opening shot of the Olympic finding the Mauritania in 1911, and at this point, I think it is pretty much disproved the theory that the Titanic and Olympics swapped names, similar to the real-life conspiracy as they really nail home that they knew about the mesh since 1911 and kept an eye on it, so I dont know why they would switch the names. At 11:56, a reflection, or at the very least a silhouette, appears in the background of the static, suggesting that someone is watching these tapes. I have no idea who it could be yet, but maybe the escaped crew member from the interview episode, as it turns out he escaped and didn't die in that episode, and this company has a lot of shady things around it as they are taking parts off ships to study the mesh and are going to risk lots of people's lives by having them be remotely close to the mesh since 1000s died on Mauretania. We also now have new information on the mesh that's believed to be a fungal spore-like entity, which is interesting. I wonder how and why the guy that was killed got down/into the engine room, considering they said it had been sealed since 1911, which would be close to 77 years at this point, and what specifically did he do to get the mesh mad enough to brutally kill him like that? Now, 2 questions arise: is this entity a hive mind, similar to a real fungus? And given its inability to survive long outside of the ship, or, more accurately, far from the main collective in the engine room, how did the other ships get infected?

Seems to be in the middle of Wyoming, as seen by Hot Springs county and Thermopolis being one of the clearer named towns. The red markings are in the general vicinity of Devils tower, maybe something is going on with it in Wyoming, maybe it’s the source of all our problems. The next image is text saying, “…te the scale of this problem. Over 90 (have gone missing at?) those mountains and they’ve unleashed…(a) monster. The Stainthrope Family have mu(murdered?)…[f]rankly, it’s a miracle we’re still here…[th]eir hands and I’m not sure they even k(now?)…” This just hammers in the fact that our problem lies at devils tower. Maybe something with the afterlife is happening, after all, it is named devils tower, and was made a landmark around the time of the first sighting of the mesh. Whatever it is, Devils tower is connected to the Mesh.
The first picture could be traced with Will McGowen (The guy in the "Interrogation" video of this series), it was a map of Britain with the highlighted area being a mining region, where McGowen formerly worked before being part of Lusitania's crew.
In addition, the killing scene in this video could be traced back with the "TogetherForever.mov" (I think, the way he died was a little different, but the elevator seems familiar)

I like this series so far and patiently waiting for more. What I’m getting is that The Mesh is some kind of fungus that has the ability to manipulate the mechanical functions, and the interior of the ship to attack anything that provokes it. That concept is very interesting and terrifying at the same time. Also, it reminds me of a story by William Hodgson called “The Derelict.” In that story, a seemingly abandoned large sailing ship that had been taken over by a sea fungus. Over time, the fungus had the ability to manipulate the vessel’s structure to devour any weary soul that come aboard it.
At 11:16 we get very brief flashes of several documents: first the coal mining map from "Interrogation", then a partial map of Wyoming with the rough location of Devils Tower circled multiple times, and then a partial quote. The quote reads "...[th]e scale of the problem. Over 90... ...those mountains and they've unleashed... ...[m]onster. The Stainthorpe family have mu-.... ...[f]rankly it's a miracle we're still here... ...[t]heir hands and I'm not sure they even k[now]..." Also, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Oscar S. (the person who died/was brutally murdered) is related to the Dr. Stainthorpe giving the presentation at the beginning.
If we assume the comma in the description is meant to be a period, then we have "Oscar M. Stainthorpe," which indeed implies some form of family relation. I personally wonder if Oscar might be Dr. Stainthorpe's rebellious or estranged son, especially the way he refers to Oscar by first name alone in the audio tape.

That is absolutely amazing! And terrifying! The lift doors moving and the squelching blood! They know about The Mesh and theyre trying to stop it. And the goverment is concerned its going to get out. It has spores. And they are trying to do 'live experimention'. Oscar S got killed and eaten by The Mesh. And it tried to ring someone. How do they run the ships if The Mesh is in engine rooms? Is The Mesh running the ships? Since they've sealed Olympics engine rooms since 1911. Heavy duty hazmat suits are worn? So many questions! Its a beautiful masterpiece Jack G.
They have a way to make it inert from what we have heard, but not yet seen. Because it would be hard to remove if it attacked when people where removing it. The issue is from the progress removal is rather slow, because what ever method they are using is limited, so they must have done something in the initial survey of the ship to prevent it attacking. Maybe used robots to do it since robots where already being used in roles such as bomb removal and removing some of the graphite on the roof in Chornobyl. If humans can go into the mesh with out being attacked while it's tamed then there is something more we have yet to see.

With Everybody Going To The Rapture... The Mesh reminds me of the stuff you see in Everyone Has Gone To The Rapture. Basically this light entity comes down from space and starts infecting people resulting them turning into balls of light.

I’m guessing what happened to the guy who recorded this footage was chased by the mesh and when he went to the elevator to escape but the mesh sopped the elevator form moving half way to the next deck and attacked him then the guy tried call for emergency maybe wh I his why we hear him whimpering and could put speak and after that was done the mesh was in the elevator and the guy was tripping to crawl his way out but the mech got hold of the door and slammed it in to him over and over and over again till he stopped moving which is why we don’t see his face and moonlight him bottom part of his body included his shoes in a few videos ago. I feel like maybe the Stainthorpe family got something to do relating to the Mesh somehow, we see "they've unleashed" and "monster", so perhaps the Stainthorpe family knew about the Mesh before what we seen and possibly tried to move it on Mauretania (might be that ship at the beginning) and with provoked also mentioned, what exactly did provoke the Mesh? Could it possibly because of the presence of another person or is it when a person goes close to the engine room of the Olympic like territorial for example? But what if something of the Mesh originates from the location, as far as we know there could be a connection with it and Devil's Tower, perhaps those spores or if not that, I am not sure what else. and maybe there is a connection with Ironclad & Co and the Stainthorpe family too, and with the description, could there be a likely hood the Mesh has ill intentions with anyone of the Stainthorpe family?
I think I’m the only one who thinks this but what could the mesh do to the world like ww1,ww2,the Korean War, and th Vietnam war. What could it do to the battleships? How would the history of the world play out in this universe? How much would change? Would things in our universe not exist? What if the wars in mentioned played out hell even some might not exist at all. And what if the old sail ships of the old world even had the mesh? Is it possible this mesh also came from the coal mines in the UK that supplied steamships with coal? This would explain why so many weird things started happening around the turn of the 20th century rather than only 1911-1912.
That would explain how the shipw as able to run itself after the engineering spaces has been sealed off and was able to move itself (leading it to going missing).
Ok, so we know for sure that the Titanic, Olympic, Mauretania, Aquitania, and Empress of Britain (among a few others such as the Warratah) still exist in this universe, while the Britannic and Lusitania sank, but my question is, what about later ships from Cunard, chiefly the RMS Queen Mary, and RMS Queen Elizabeth? I did investigated a bit, and yes, it is the map of England, but a particular part is encircled. Same with the states map.

They have a way to make it inert from what we have heard, but not yet seen. Because it would be hard to remove if it attacked when people where removing it. The issue is from the progress removal is rather slow, because what ever method they are using is limited, so they must have done something in the initial survey of the ship to prevent it attacking. Maybe used robots to do it since robots where already being used in roles such as bomb removal and removing some of the graphite on the roof in Chornobyl. If humans can go into the mesh with out being attacked while it's tamed then there is something more we have yet to see.

This type of particular door are not automatic, a elevator operator have to manuly open it and theres no report indicate they were gonna upgrade the door

The Mesh reminds me of the stuff you see in Everyone Has Gone To The Rapture. Basically this light entity comes down from space and starts infecting people resulting them turning into balls of light.

I’m guessing what happened to the guy who recorded this footage was chased by the mesh and when he went to the elevator to escape but the mesh sopped the elevator form moving half way to the next deck and attacked him then the guy tried call for emergency maybe wh I his why we hear him whimpering and could put speak and after that was done the mesh was in the elevator and the guy was tripping to crawl his way out but the mech got hold of the door and slammed it in to him over and over and over again till he stopped moving which is why we don’t see his face and moonlight him bottom part of his body included his shoes in a few videos ago. What a messed up way to see and not knowing what will happen in the next hour and I think the time 2:48 am is supposed to be the time when titanic had her final plunge I think?
I feel like maybe the Stainthorpe family got something to do relating to the Mesh somehow, we see "they've unleashed" and "monster", so perhaps the Stainthorpe family knew about the Mesh before what we seen and possibly tried to move it on Mauretania (might be that ship at the beginning) and with provoked also mentioned, what exactly did provoke the Mesh? Could it possibly because of the presence of another person or is it when a person goes close to the engine room of the Olympic like territorial for example?
But what if something of the Mesh originates from the location, as far as we know there could be a connection with it and Devil's Tower, perhaps those spores or if not that, I am not sure what else. and maybe there is a connection with Ironclad & Co and the Stainthorpe family too, and with the description, could there be a likely hood the Mesh has ill intentions with anyone of the Stainthorpe family?
I think I’m the only one who thinks this but what could the mesh do to the world like ww1,ww2,the Korean War, and th Vietnam war. What could it do to the battleships? How would the history of the world play out in this universe? How much would change? Would things in our universe not exist? What if the wars in mentioned played out hell even some might not exist at all. And what if the old sail ships of the old world even had the mesh? So many questions that might be answered in the lore to come. Keep up the great work jack!

Is it possible this mesh also came from the coal mines in the UK that supplied steamships with coal? This would explain why so many weird things started happening around the turn of the 20th century rather than only 1911-1912.
That would explain how the shipw as able to run itself after the engineering spaces has been sealed off and was able to move itself (leading it to going missing).

Ok, so we know for sure that the Titanic, Olympic, Mauretania, Aquitania, and Empress of Britain (among a few others such as the Warratah) still exist in this universe, while the Britannic and Lusitania sank, but my question is, what about later ships from Cunard, chiefly the RMS Queen Mary, and RMS Queen Elizabeth? Do they exist in this Universe? And if so, what's their status? Are they too a part of "Project Britannica", aka, being kept in Quarantine? Is the Queen Mary in Long Beach? Or did one or both of them somehow sink, or were never built? I don't need sleep, I need answers regarding the Cunard Queens!
