Actually Irene scene after the girl fall because red string it was also in the movies. And after that she fell through the glass(Wendy bridge part) it also in the movies when two ppl jump from the cliffs. I hated that movie so much because how horrifying it was and yet I remember the details 🙃
I just watched Midsommar last night to understand the references in this MV. It was intense but definitely not as disturbing as I expected. The theme of grief and subdued revenge is missing from the MV.
Too hard to feel bright from MV with that flower eyes scene... 💀💀💀
Isn't it chilling 😅
the person falling from the ceiling also reflects the old man jumping from the cliff
Tbh someone who has already seen MIDSOMMAR and then watching this M/V , it's quite difficult to feeling cheerful .
More directly, the red lipstick on the mural mirrors the scene where the old man wipes blood from his hand on the mural before jumping off the cliff
the white room is also a midsommar reference they both had rooms with white tiles
