Bugeye WRX overview and modS !!! V7STI !?

A clean USDM example of a Bugeye WRX with V7STI components. MOSTLY STOCK with STI handling upgrades. A walk around of my first Subaru , the one that got me hooked ! The rumble of a mighty little four cylinder coupled with a raw awd system makes you feel like a rally car driver . Without traction control and modern day computers , this car really gives you the feels ! I like driving this car more and more and would get another subaru in a heartbeat because of it , in fact that is just what I did ! This is my daily driver and we got to make it through our first winter together , though I have had it for years . I do not intend on ever driving her in the winter again , hence why I have purchased a legacy gt to do similar mods and romp on during the Michigan winters !

Since this video, I blew the stock turbo going too fast for too long and upgraded to a stock wrx STI turbo, with a stock STI top mount intercooler, fuel injector clinic 1000cc fuel injectors, walbro 350 fuel pump, Perrin tmic splitter, replaced a bad crank sensor, o2 sensors, evap solenoids got a proper access port rune before cobb went green, sound deadened the entire interior, adjusted the suspension to the point where I cannot BELIEVE I didn't adjust it when it was initially installed years ago because this made the biggest difference in handling and everyday ride quality. I have smoke/ leak tested and compression tested it and fixed a few small evap leaks and to my surprise found that the oil cap had a massive leak and installing a new seal helped with evap leaks tremendously along with valve cover gasket seals around the spark plug area ! I installed a hitch and have been towing multiple motorcycles and my flat bottom boat with this wrx and launching it in rivers by myself with the manual transmission relying completely on the emergency brake is exhilarating lol 😆. Nothing beats subarus symmetrical all wheel drive and feel of reassurance around a corner at a good rate of speed. E85 may be in my near future...
