Tom Sims’ personal wood tiki from the late 1970s… Almost 50 years ago, Tom asked my dad Dorsey Truitt to hold onto to two of these after the Surf Expo in Kissimmee, Florida. They teased each other about them for decades afterwards. Now both of these skate industry legends and long-time friends have passed away, and these amazing pieces of history are in our warehouse.
We are beyond grateful to Sam & Robin Truitt for rescuing and getting them back to us.
