Thanks! Whenever I feel like I don't want to create I watch a couple of YT videos and then I'm itching too :D I'm so grateful that we have this platform to motivate and get motivated.
Thank you! :) I hope I can open up shop soon, I have put a lot of time into RUclips for the last two months and I feel like I am slowly building up a routine when it comes to making videos so it would be nice if I could redirect some of my energy somewhere else.
Wow this is Stunning ..I love the whole concept ,she is beautiful and elegant ,I Love also you choice of colour palette ,it really sets the image off perfectly..The gown on her is exquisite..This is beautifully drawn and painted I love the ethereal feel of it 😀
Okay but your voice is so calming in this video :) also this illustration is so beautiful, especially the concept. Thank you for sharing the process with us :)
I live in the Hochschwarzwald So no school for two days I also find it super nice to stay inside while theres bad weather and just relax But not while your roof falls apart xD Wish you all the best ❤️
Just a little feedback about the mic, in the first half I had some problem understand your voice (normally it's fine), the second half was ok. Maybe it's not the mic but sometimes your voice is shy-er? Have a good day :)
Yeah the first part was me just talking into the cam and depending on how my position is it sounds quieter or louder but the mic in the cam is also total shit 🤷♀️ That's why I'm not sure if these real-time drawing and chatting parts even make sense in the future. Maybe if I set up the mic and record while filming and swap the audio tracks, I'd have to try that out and see if I can sync them up properly. Thanks for your feedback about it! :)
Such a nice video to chill to and to motivate myself a little bit to get my lazy ass to creating something. Btw Klood, do you also struggle with the fact that you once produced little art in general because most of your sketches are not sketchy enough and you perfect those instead moving on?
Yeah sometimes I get stuck and can't move on, I'm still working on finding the right balance between taking my time but also not trying to get stuck with something and just finish it. I worked on three different things over the weekend and I messed all of them up, some I didn't like because I started overworking areas and some I didn't like because I got sloppy and rushed it. I was pretty angry with myself but now I have three sketches that I still like so it wasn't a waste of time. I guess there is nothing we can do but to be aware of what we are doing/thinking/feeling in the moment maybe taking a step back and asking our self if what we are doing rn makes sense or if we are standing in our own way.
@@Kloodwig How do you battle this desire to perfect every single thing? I'm bad at being consistent when it comes to making art so it results in this bad mindset that every single thing that I draw should be turned into a sketch, lineart and watercolor piece along the way.
I will say it again. Why. So. Perfect. Love it and love u too :) I want to ask u.. Do you feel that you are mostly satisfied with your drawings? Instagram with comments and likes helps in this somehow, seriously? I always look at your work and WOW, look at mine and huh meh 😑 always I hate what I do ☠️
Im never really satisfied with anything I do, doesn't mean I don't like it but once I finish something Im already thinking about the things I want to improve and try with the next one. And looking at what other people are doing and feeling meh about your own stuff is pretty normal I think, as long as it keeps you motivated and inspired to move on. If it blocks you completely and you feel like giving up then maybe take a break from yt or instagram :) And likes or positive feed back does feel good but it never changed my own opinion or feelings about my art. I see likes and comments on ig more as a confirmation that I did a good job with using Instagram. There are many artists on ig that I look up to that don't get as much engagement and that's because I put more effort into using Instagram. Likes don't equal good art it equals understanding a platform and using it to your benefit :)
Me: oh cool, chill video before going to bed

Wie der Sturm hier sich sogar in deinem Video durchsetzt
this is just out of the blue, but what pencils were you using during this video?
Mostly Polychromos but I might have used a Prismacolor too :)
niceee!! fist hehe
Grantäpfel doesn’t sound as nice as pomegranate xD your art is ever evolving with each video
Granatäpfel ist aber leichter auszusprechen XD
@@Kloodwig da geb ich dir recht haha
Im the same, never look or listen to my videos again once they are online lol maybe should but just get sick of hearing my own voice
I remember the first time I tried a voice over, couldn't get over how high my voice sounds :D
i just sound so stereotypically Canadian lol more than i thought i did lol
