This is the best RPG I’ve ever played on the 3DS-and also probably on any portable console ever. Not only is it an excellent game, it’s even got an excellent story, which I did not expect from a niche JRPG that never really took off in America at all. Maybe I need to make a video about it (though I have no way of recording 3DS footage) so more people hear about it. Seriously, I did not expect to love EVERYTHING about this game.
Too bad VFD is the last of 7th dragon series. I just glad i can read jp so i can start from the begining of the series

Just when I thought the Lucier cannon from the first game was the darkest this series would go... this game throws Hypnos and ND at me
That feeling when all the bond we've built throughout the game broken so suddenly is devastating as hell. The music just amped my emotions to another volume, which is what makes the fight amazing even though it ended in a flash because, well, ND is my first test subject of how overpowered EX skills are lol (poor Yuma die because of Unison instead).

on my run those boss are kinda obliterated by yu gi oh duelist lol. but yeah the climax is good specially since she made us kill the twin shop and quest girl.
Duelist is kinda clunky for me lol, I prefer Samurai and Mage's masssive burst. It's a shame they butchered Idol from 2020-II though, they are my fav
@@_DuongucAn duelist require trick to pull and draw trapcard duelist build i use simply let you do equal to ex damage atk once you manage to lay 3 trap card on the field. While i keep rotating my team my main frontliner is samurai duelist and mage lol. But yeah i miss idol fever mechanic
Interesting, I overlooked the trap because setting up is bothersome comparing to Mage. Still use Duelist occasionally for the MP heal though, that was the best thing I found from them.
tbh i get that VFD is thought to be the true antagonist but then again allie was in the first game also spreading the dragonsbane and plotting. she is the true antagonist of the series
Dragonsbane are spread by different true dragon on each series tho not by ND. And unlike ND, other true dragon like nyala and formalhaut dosent like the idea of human fighting back thus they use dragonsbane simply to exterminate instead of nursing a vesel for 7th dragon.
@@RePhantomz he meant the very first 7th dragon that was in NDS, the secret boss there is actually ND (and takehaya is just a normal boss btw)
@@FreedomSylph yeah i play it too. Altho all she did is follow the mastermind that create the system Iod. We never fought him but he still the one directing aille and other pridefull true dragon deserve as the main antagonist.
Dragonsbane is spread by different true dragons on each game. Allie came into the picture much later, long after Murakumo got dismantled. The dragon sickness thing was going on for quite a while before VFD starts. All the invasion and other stuff in the game were being caused by the ND from the start.
Though I kind of wonder if Dragonsbane was completely gone globally after the OG unit 13s final victory in 2020-ii. I kind of get the hint that the problem somewhat persisted even if the rest of the Dragons were completely gone by the time of VFD. Not even counting all the non-dragon monsters roaming about.
There are strong hints that even though Japan looks all cool and well, most of the rest of the world are in a much much worse state. Julietta even hints on how ISDF ( The New International World police as dictated by the reformed UN) abused their power and threw the non-first-world countries under the bus and exploited the situation.

ND took from the Thanos school of problem solving didn't even need to snap, how ever we needed to gather the infinity dragons essence xD

I burned everything. The dragon and the flowers. That battle was full of fire and easier than the previous boss.
To think, the enemy was right next to us almost the entire game, and she took everything and everyone we cared about in an instant... Ali, why? Why would you do this? ...No, there was never an Ali, just a dragon, it truly didn’t care about any of us at all, it just wanted us to ascend to 7th Heaven and become VFD... Well, you wanted to fight us right? Well, you’ll have your fight...

it's in the name , it comes from "7th dragon 3 code:VFD" and if you were talking about the channel's picture it comes from steing gate , one of the best anime/game if you search for no idiots , no forcing , and realistic character developement

Oh how much i hate the boss this music plays in the background of. I usually dont go all out with special skills like the EX attacks in this game, but that... thing had to take the full brunt of my attacks. It didnt get to move once
@Miguel Ángel I'm not sure the charm ailment stuff was the only reason because of certain story elements and how this boss reveals themselves. At least that how it was for me, it was one of those rare moments where a villain in a video game genuinely pissed me off on an emotional level.

Cos holy hell I was pissed at ND
Especially (obliviously spoilers in coming)
After I saw Mio die hoo boy I was furious me (as a samurai) and Kino (as a Mage) just fuckin killed during turn 2 cos of our EX Skills that were also charged
And I don't regret doing that cos I just listen to the song here while happily knowing she's dead and hopefully she ain't in the new universe
Everybody else tho hopefully there especially the Twins they deserve to have a normal life and not be Dragonslayers and seeing Mio remembering unit 13 and stuff that gave me a smile....yea you can probably tell I just finished it like 15 mins ago
