Last night a random thought came to mind. And i knew it was not from GOD because it was blasphemous. I immediately rebuked it and Prayed to GOD for guidance and amazingly this video answered those intrusive thoughts pertaining as to why GOD lets us suffer sometimes. The enemy insists that it’s a form of manipulation on GOD’s part so that we would have no choice but to come to Him.THE HOLY SPIRIT guided me not to believe those lies. GOD lets us suffer because He purifies us of things that are making us stray away from “Faith” because how is “Faith” applied when everything you have in mind goes the way you intended it to be? There is no room for Trust and Hope in GOD’s promises. GOD does wants us to come to Him, as a loving FATHER , He Loves it when we as His children depend on Him for everything else. He wants us to come not only when we’re in trouble, but also during those times where we can be thankful for just about everything. GOD is Good, in Good times and in Bad.
I am very inspired by your every teaching brother David. I hope that i will eventually step out of faith no matter what because I am so full of mess and fears doubts in my life, though I have faith but I am so often afraid of taking risk bcoz I am afraid of rejections and negative, comments.. thanks and Godbless

Hey David, What if I / someone can't speak in tingues? What if God desides not to give the gift of tongues? What if his desire for you/someone else is the gift of healing, or discernment, or profacy, or fellowship, or to worship? What then?
Praying in tongues is an attribute the Holy Ghost but not the initial evident of the Holy Ghost. As tongues is a gift. It’s better to have the gift of prophecy than tongues according to Paul but tongues is only a gift that is effective when it’s done by/through the power of the Holy Ghost and not intellectual/emotional excitement.
