Lynn Lynn, with the fact that they are the hardest instruments to learn in the common brass family, you'd be correct if you were referring to skill required.
Trent Williams i tried playing th F above the staff for it to it sounds nice also since it sounds like a complete chord never thought of taking the A up an octive tho
@@williamsonsmd5646 I agree. The first or fifth in a trumpet octave is more powerful than the third. I prefer the first since that's most commonly used (F).
So, how'd it go? I always wanna comment on these types of comments cause it's nostalgic for me, I played this in 7th grade, I'm now a 2nd year college student. Time flys by so fast.
We might be playing this and a queen opener for our marching season and I cant wait (Plus in middle school we did the concert version so my grade and the grade below me would be getting to play both the concert version and the marching version which I find dope)

See, trumpets? You say woodwinds never get any good parts because you can’t hear us. Well if you SHUT UP and play quieter long enough, you CAN hear us. We had the whole beginning and could be heard just fine.
music doesn't require impressive technicalities and supreme theory to be good, music isn't just about being technically impressive. The emotion Mercury puts into the song is what makes it so good, the raw passion and heart poured into every measure. Not sixteenth-note scale runs or breaking theory and making an entirely new form of music. Just love and care for what he did.
We did this queen opener, and crazy little thing called love this season. It was great
Dankence HD wow! I’m doing the same thing next year with the band
@@bagel040 same
We’re doing We Are The Champions, this, Bicycle Race, and We Will Rock You. Our halftime show always excites the crowd!
Cedric Waithiani sAmE and then we did bohemian rhapsody:)
Do you have a recording maybe? I can’t find any bands that have played this piece.
Trumpets: "WE'RE THE BEEEEST"
Everyone else: YOU ARE NOT THE BEST"
Trumpets: "WE'RE THE BEEEST"
etc
But like that's in every band ever
How can the trumpets be the best? Everyone knows that the French horns are actually the best.
Lynn Lynn, with the fact that they are the hardest instruments to learn in the common brass family, you'd be correct if you were referring to skill required.
Trumpets are the best lmao
ehh.every now and then, but 100%? no
being a drum major and hearing 2:03 played right in front of you is the most amazing feeling
How to gain muscle for snare drummers: Practice this 5 times in a row non stop XD
Whomever is playing the trumpet part had better blow an F above the staff at the end there or i'll be sad.
Maccaroney
It's an A. I played F to see what it would sound like and it doesn't sound right
Trent Williams i tried playing th F above the staff for it to it sounds nice also since it sounds like a complete chord never thought of taking the A up an octive tho
The A wouldn't sound good because it's the major 3rd. Only taking the F up or playing a C would sound good
Yes No you now

We r actually gonna start marching this one in a few days :) cant wait
Cool! My school is doing queen just put this song on the field!

My grandson is going to the marching band when he is in college, i am 100% sure that song is going to be there. the song was majestic.

One of my favourite songs to ever play with my old concert band
This is defiantly the best arrangement out there!

This may be the best arrangement of anything ever.
I'm marching this tomorrow
Had this for my drum major audition yesterday. Felt powerful. I can’t wait to get results!
Clarinets with mainly eighth notes and whole notes

We’re doing queen opener and crazy little thing
Finally some good bass splita

@@edilacosta6418 bro im bass 1 for this and i love the 12/8 section

Conducting this song was way to much fun particularly at the end
Although there’s no piccolo part, I still play picc for this show. Very fun :)
We're doing this for marching band this year. Ours is written a little differently though.
Nice we are playing this too and this version
+Smosh Aswolfs what school ? XD
Rehobeth ^
Smosh Aswolfs Delaware?
My school is doing this too. Bit of I different version tho
I'm going to be a freshman next year and I will be playing snare on this piece... Definitely the hardest piece I have played XD
I'm a 8th grader and I can do it and I play the Mellowphone
You got a long way to go man. This is pretty easy on snare, and tenors. Best of luck
Izabella Lewis Yeah snare is much harder

Can you find a Lana Del Rey one? Please!!
I loved the show but really hated marching it our marching instructor likes us to move
If you don't want to move, why march?
If you don't want to march you should join pit .
I'm going to guess you mean dance.
its not stand and play band its marching band
would i be free to use the first part in one of my songs?
Sounds too happy. But this is a marching arrangement so it has to be happy-ish. Otherwise it's extremely good.
10/10 piece can’t rlly fit the words into it tho
speak to your algo rhythms
Mellowphones are you here... I guess I'm alone
Here in mellophone hell. Boy I hate this song
I'm 2nd chair it's easy stop complaining
Welcome to the mellow family... Yeah we have to play high notes
Oh I'm not a boy I'm a girl thank you very much

One of the most overrated pieces of music ever haha.. The marching band arrangement makes it sound 100 times better than the original
Oh hell no it doesn't. This song is one of the best songs ever sung by the most talented person the earth at the time.
Joe Disdier It's called an opinion, and in mine the song is subpar compared to the hype it gets. It's not that genius from a theory point of view.
it's not the song it's the meaning behind the song, the back story
Joe Disdier Needing extra information for something to be decent is what makes it not as great as most claim it to be :)

Just love and care for what he did.
The actual song is stupendous, this arrangement butchers it and does no justice to Freddie Mercury's memory
Why does this one sound worse for some reason
