This is one of my favorite songs ever and you two covered it beautifully. Having been in a deep depression for some time, I let my music go. But when I saw Ms. Baker blow the dust off of her violin case, open it up and start tuning that lovely instrument, I cried like a baby. All is not lost for me - I still have my music - and nobody can take that away. So I just blew the dust off of my guitar case, tuned up that old Martin and started playing again. Thank you from my heart, and blessings to both of you.

I'm so glad to hear it! We all need to dust ourselves off once in awhile, too, I suppose. And having a guitar nearby is a good way to do that. 👍

Mike Masse Thank you so much for your words. I have been sitting here listening to your music.I have been a fan for about a year now and I couldn't begin to convey to you what your music especially 'More Than A Feeling' meant to my sister. My sister was disabled and endured alot of physical pain.Every Saturday I would bring her to my home w/other family and friends for BBQ etc... Her name was Vera Lee by the way. Every single time she came over the first thing she wanted to do was go to your site and or you tube and watch and listen to your videos. She so loved them Mike. When I played 'More Than A Feeling' she would smile and literally shed tears because it touched her so deeply and the wonderful playing of Jenny Oaks combined w/you became her favorite song hands down. I cannot thank you enough for the gift of your music that truly took her away from her pain everytime she listened to you. She asked me if I could download the music for her and I told her the next time she came over we would go to your website and she could pick and I would purchase any and all the Mike Masse songs she wanted . This was something I decided to do for the first time; that is using my credit card online because of fear of stories others have told me of having there accounts compromised ( and the fear did not extend to you) but hackers. My lord I didn't mean to ramble like this ....She passed away 2 days before she was to come over that day. I intend to support you and your music and I have turned dozens of family and friends on to your music. Once again I want to thank you so very much. .

When I first watched this ( some 3 months ago now ) and when Jenny began to pull out her fiddle, I nearly turned off the video, as I believed that a fiddle does NOT belong in this classic imo... however, remembering that I have been suprised by the unexpected before I decided to listen to this version once, and by God am I glad I did! Both the vocals and Jennys fiddle are superb, and this cover is positively masterful! I have listened to this dozens of times since then, and plan on doing so indefinitely.
Bravo and my full complinents to both Mike and Jenny! I love this cover and I thank you both for giving it to us!

Seriously Mike, I've loved this vocal since you published this. Going back through for a Mike Masse re-listening binge just now, and this is an all-time favorite! And Jenny absolutely nails that Boston vibe. Great song!

Nice rendition, you two. Mike, nothing you sing and play surprises me anymore. I've followed your videos for several years now and you continue to blow me away with your vocal range, melody and overall talent. Kudos to Jenny Oaks Baker for taking an instrument I never dreamed of connecting to this song and nailing every note with precision and perfect clarity.

I started the evening literally by listening to "More Than a Feeling" reaction videos, because for some reason the song was in my head. After a few, I remembered hearing Mike and friends cover "Red Hill Mining Town" and listened to that again. Then I clicked on his page to see what else he had, scrolled down (through a lot of videos I plan to watch - I love his musical taste!) and found this. There was no way in hell I wasn't going to watch it, and damn if I'm not just floored! Fantastic cover! If the first two covers I've listened to have been this good, I plan to watch a lot more!

Binge watching M. Massé after yesterday's first show in Montréal. (Sept, 6. 2019) Don't miss on the chance to see him live.
    Very generous.
Always give back to your artist. (On stage.) You are the reason he/she is there. The more (energy) you feed them. The more they'll give you back.
