Two world in one lens, wow. Thanks for sharing, very interesting.
Thanks for watching and leaving your thoughts Dom.
Great insight... Wildlife and macro is not in my wheelhouse, but you make me want to rent some lenses and try it out!
thanks pal, it’s something I really enjoy …. so relaxing …
All the picture looks really beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Take care and wish you a wonderful weekend Brian. 😺😺❤️❤️
Thank you too
Amazing channel, superb videos and production. All the best.
Thank you very much!
Would be interesting to see how this compares to other dedicated macro lenses, with and without the teleconverter. A first proper zoom macro?
Agreed, that would be interesting. One thing I wonder … how this would work, if at all with a flash.
Bigger lens and thus the flash might get shadowed by the lens.
@@BrianGJohnsonPhotography I usually use a remote flash held in my right hand with the arm cradling the lens. I can then position the flash wherever I want. I also have the Wimberley macro flash bracket, but I prefer the quick flexibility of just using my hand.
Yeah i rather use my reverse mounted vintage lens setup..
I need to try that some time …
@@BrianGJohnsonPhotography You really do! The only downside is that you don't have zoom or focus.
So its fully manual.
Mine is coming on Tuesday. I can't wait! I had the Mark 1 and it just wasn't sharp enough, so it sat in my bag. Really looking forward to checking out this new version. Subbed, BTW.
Hope you enjoy it!
