That is a term used in common language that refers to the collective name of heaven and earth and all that belongs to them in the whole system of created things. (See Noah Webster's Dictionary of the English Language 1857 edition). Hebrews 1:11 teaches the heaven and the earth wax old as doth a garment. And He shall change them (Hebrews 1:12). And He shall make a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 21:1).
