Could you please review this compact reverse umbrella? www.amazon.com/Compact-Inverted-Umbrella-Fiberglass-Waterproof/dp/B075QZ19BS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1507084543&sr=8-1&keywords=luxvitae+inverted+umbrella
Freakin' Reviews the beats the whole purpose of the water if you have to constantly dump it out and when you usually come inside to hang up your umbrella or a place it wherever you place it you usually place it with the handle part facing up for easier access of grabbing it so how does that work how do you place it with the handle on the floor?
You dump the water before you come into the house! It's perfect for boarding buses, fold as you're boarding, and no one gets wet. You do videos very well!
If you need to dump the water and the umbrella is still wet and has moisture then is no different than an usual one which follows the same procedure before entering the house.
Some suggestions, the reason why yours doesn't necessarily close as tightly is because you didn't use strap that comes with it that most umbrellas have. also the other main features that you didn't necessarily describe that differ from the traditional umbrellas is that when it opens inverted like when you showed yourself getting out of the car with your inverted umbrella, you didn't have to open your door very wide. Just only enough to let the inverted umbrella out to open which you pretty much can't do with a traditional umbrella. also and the fact that the shell or skelton of the umbrella is all covered so you won't get your hair caught if you have any etc. But otherwise not a bad review.
I Love my New Better Brella - I got the Elite Series.. Has an Ergonomically Correct handle and an Automatic Open Button.. Thanks for your review.. I Love the way you present Items ! Thanks.
In the commercial for it they show it strapped shut/ buttoned closed BEFORE turning it upside down. You are not mimicking the same technique. But overall I enjoyed your review.
I feel like a regular umbrella will get shaken out on my porch before going inside just as much as the reverse umbrella would. Net result = 0. Thanks for showing us. Neat opening gimmick. Nice for long-haired folk, as the armature won't get caught in my hair, but that's about the only perk I see in this item.
this "reverse" "technology" is how the umbrella I bought while in Taiwan worked... i thought it was genius, but the one I bought there is compact. I love it. They love their umbrellas in Taiwan though, so maybe more thought has been put into them there.
I have a version of this! Mine has a different handle, shaped more like a C, and I like it a lot when I'm walking but closing it to bring into a car is a little problematic. You need to turn it upside-down and let the water drip out, or you'll just have a puddle in the car! It works really well in windy conditions, because it doesn't seem to want to flip inside-out, which is a plus.
I think its dumb because who doesn't close it all the way and tie it up! My step mother wants it she'll send me someday to get it at Walmart I love the red one for her but I'm only seeing the blue one at Walmart oh well! Good review bro!
Thanks your video has been very helpful because I am deciding on buying 2 via Amazon. It will be handy to keep in my car as I hate getting all that water dripping inside my car and love the idea of easy opening when coming out into the rain without having to struggle with an automatic and getting wet in the process.
I think its easier to open from the car. No one has grass in your neighborhood? I think thats great when it comes to lawn care but I dont think I would like that. No running around the yard with the kids
It's Nevada, grass won't grow. It's too hot and there's not enough rain. I don't think it's a place I'd want to live either but to each their own. I live in New England and most people wouldn't want to deal with our winters!! Every state has positives and negatives.. :)
MadeInTheUSA1975 yea same here in NY, very bi polar weather. We literally went from 70 degrees to snow the day right after. Following with lots and lots of rain showers.
neddmoulton1 I live in vegas and it's damn near impossible to keep grass here. Let alone keep it green. Most people here use fake grass. So the best option that most people here have is dirt/rocks.
You could keep a plastic jar or something in the car, and put the umbrella top inside. Then the water will collect inside the jar.(obviously should be fixed on the floor ) Just a thought.
Living in the south, I would like to add that people should also use umbrellas for sun shade. I walked through a street fair with the benefit of the shade from the umbrella and it made the day much more enjoyable. Even with global warming, we all need to get out in the sun, just take advantage of having your umbrella with you - don't just count on a hat as that still makes your shoulders and back too warm. It works -
The feature that I look for most in an umbrella is it's sturdiness/wind-restance. I notice that the Better Brella does not have the vent at the top that so many of these wind-restant umbrellas have. So, it would've been interesting to see you demonstrate this umbrella under windier conditions; but, obviously, you can't control that. The idea that it traps the water, to me, is a non-feature. Even in your demonstration we can see that no much water is really collected on the surface of the umbrella. Besides, with conventional umbrellas, a good opening "pop" before closing it usually gets about 90% of the water off. Actually, I would find it rather annoying that the Better Brella _retains_ the water necessitating me to remember to "empty it out", as you say. That actually seems like a hassle and drawback. To me, it's best feature is demonstrated when you are getting out of the car (as in the commercial). We can all relate to trying to get out of our car during a downpour and the frustration in trying to quickly open our umbrella before getting drenched. That seems to be this umbrella's only redeeming feature that I can tell. I do travel a lot and the fact that it is long and bulky is definitely a drawback. It seems like the type of umbrella you keep in your car - not in your suitcase. Is it worth $19.95? Meh. Thanks for the review. Good job!
Yeah I glad you did this video can wait to see the wind video. They should had came out to Vegas when we have the strong cross wind's . 30 to 40 mph plus with our strong down pours at times. Thanks for this video gonna grab 2.
Hi... I just started watching your reviews. I stumbled upon this by mistake. I have been thinking about getting one of these umbrellas for a long time but was hesitant. I love your reviews. You are very thorough. This would be a great umbrella to keep in my car. I also watched your review of the Rocky Mountain Tumbler. I am definitely a fan. Keep up the good work. I like to see how something actually works before I buy it! 😊
You said the same thing I did about the review getting in your car closing it up in a downpour you have to pour the water out or reports out on the floor of your car or your seat that's a back draw
I saw other test it. Not really all that I recall from review. Well Do you have strong gust wind. I don't think they can make any magic design to get through that. A rain suit or poncho is best way to keep mostly dry. I don't like the bigness of it. I like compact.
i cant remember the last time i used an umbrella.....i just deal with the wet hair...but then again i worked on farms during my teens-and you did NOT have a hand free to hold a friggin umbrella, and yeah-you worked in the rain cause farm work happens everyday...i donno-they just seem useless to me...just another "thing" you have to carry-which i dont need. Its just water...
but think about it this way...when you stick it out of the car door to open it, the inside (since it is built reversed) is going to get wet. so you're still going to feel the rain when you open the umbrella and realize all the water is sluicing off onto your head although you're underneath it.
You forgot one big advantage. It should also withstand strong winds because of the double "sail" construction, and not collaps. The upper and under fabric should prevent that.
Peter Pan I know you wrote this a year ago, but are you serious? Where I live it's extremely rare to have rain and no harsh winds. They're always together. I've never used umbrellas because they just get turned inside out. What brands of umbrella are like that and resist the wind?
The handle of the umbrella looks like its bent idk if it really is or nt bt in the video it looks like it. I bn wanting 1 so im glad 2 across ur video...
The garage doors behind him in some clips also look warped. He might be using a fisheye lens, which distorts the picture. I dunno, not a camera expert!
This design seems to create as many problems as it solves. Also this design is more complex so more that can go wrong. The reviews on Amazon contain tons of problems with small fragile parts breaking making the umbrella flawed.
Have one of the better brellas and I really like it it didn't advertise to be a compact umbrella it just advertise to not get water all over the place when you coming out of the ranger you close up your umbrella what you needed to do in there was go out in the rain with a better brella bring that in and then shake out the water and see what you got and then you needed to come in use in a regular umbrella either a regular full size the same size as the better brella or the little compact umbrella that evidently you travel a lot and always take an umbrella with you wherever you go so you could have used that one went out in the rain come in closed it and compared to see how much water came off of each umbrella so to me that would have been a fair comparison the way you did it it wasn't really a comparison you just went out the rain came back in and shook the umbrella big deal I don't really understand why compare it to anything I mean it seems to me that you don't really care for this concept of the Sunbrella and I found that with your reviews it you can kind of tell if your if you don't really like a product because it comes across in the way you describe it in the way you point out whatever flaws it may have big or small I don't find your reviews to be truly nonpartisan I find it that if you truly don't think an idea is good or you don't think you're going to be impressed with a product it comes across in the way you present it and the verbiage you used to describe it and that's just my opinion I don't post RUclips videos I don't review products I buy things if I can find that I don't like over they didn't work the way that I thought they should I return them because just because you thought something worked well you know that doesn't mean it's going to work the same for me I understand that you're not endorsing a supposedly you're not coming down hard on aren't all that fair just my opinion
Thanks for the review. My boyfriend saw this and was excited so I came looking for a test run. And as far as opening the umbrella in the house, no one does that it's bad luck lol.
+SHÆNISY I once opened my umbrella in school (well, at least, an umbrella that I found) and a girl freaked out and ran from me because she did not want to be caught under it...
Lmao, I open umbrellas in houses. No bad luck at all. If you ever think you do get bad luck because of something random you did, well that's just confirmation bias.
The water-holding thing is nothing. I just partially close my normal umbrella and give it a few shakes out the door. This guy makes it sound like spilling the water on the floor is the only option if you don't have one of these.
I thought your review of this product was just fine to me. As for the commercial, that's the marketing technique for you, to make it look like it works smoothly, no problems. Just like Oprah Winfrey's cauliflower pizza. Well, I tried some of Oprah's new pizza & tasted NO cauliflower in it anywhere!! What a waste of $ & a lie! Needless to say, I won't eat anymore of that junk.
I feel like this was invented for people who don't know how to use an umbrella, and even then it's ridiculous. This review is just as ridiculous cause no one closes an umbrella with it pointing up. You always point it at the ground when closing. Never had any problems getting wet from an umbrella. I'm curious why people would actually want or feel they need this.

@@alexandruseizu5465 True but nowhere as soaking wet as a regular umbrella.

I like the folding designs more for it not getting in the way when entering the car or door of the hosue.
Great review.
Totes has a compact Auto Open/Close inverted umbrella.
This is one concept that'll work great for my needs.
Is the handle curved or is that the camera angle?
I didn't see you use a conventional umbrella and shake off the residual water from it, comparing the two. I would think that's a valid comparison.
Good review! For I've been pondering about this umbrella, and, after viewing your review, I just may try it out.
Thanks your video has been very helpful because I am deciding on buying 2 via Amazon. It will be handy to keep in my car as I hate getting all that water dripping inside my car and love the idea of easy opening when coming out into the rain without having to struggle with an automatic and getting wet in the process.
It's a worthy umbrella. I think you'll probably like it. :-)
What's wrong with doing same stuff (pull your hand out a little) with regular umbrella?
Awesome thanks will start checking out your videos watched both rain and windy...

it should be illegal to have lawn there. isn't it?
MadeInTheUSA1975 I'm with you in in New England actually CT I woke up to 5inches today.

3WhiteCrow - Women and old folks should. I'm NOT going to walk with an umbrella on a hot sunny day. That's would be ridiculous for gods sake.
How well does it compete with wind?
I prefer the automatic umbrellas. They can be very compact. Press the button once to open and again to collapse. Takes one hand to operate.
Thank you so much. I just heard about this and had no idea how it worked.
Tell me that I'm not the only one who saw the green dots when he was filming inside. o_o
Nope, it's just you! :-)
I saw them too. Wondered if he had those fancy new Christmas lights going somewhere!
Amy Reminded me of a scene from paranormal activity. I rubbed my eyes a couple at first lol.
Amy where did they come from almost thought they were spheres
It's one of those Christmas laser light things most people put outside I think that's what it is.

it's really wind resistant?
Yeah I glad you did this video can wait to see the wind video.

30 to 40 mph plus with our strong down pours at times. Thanks for this video gonna grab 2.
Thank you for your review. It was nicely done.
You say to empty it out after using, doesn't that defeat the purpose. Can't I just shake off a regular umbrella and achieve the same results?

Review brella shield yet?
Once again, great review. I had no idea that these reverse umbrellas were out there. Ps, glad to see that the star shower is still working ;)
In windy rain conditions?
Don't have one. Not getting one. I use a huge golfing umbrella and it seems to work good. Thanks bra!
This dude knows how to party!

I'm going to buy one based on your review. Thank you!
I absolutely love mine
How often does it rain in Las vegas?
Not much, except for monsoon season and occasionally in the winter, when we do get brief but heavy downpours.
Freakin' Reviews yeah I asked the question before you answered in video lol
but think about it this way...when you stick it out of the car door to open it, the inside (since it is built reversed) is going to get wet. so you're still going to feel the rain when you open the umbrella and realize all the water is sluicing off onto your head although you're underneath it.

I found 2 of those things being thrown away. So now I know what to do with it. Not sure of the brand but they were FREE!!
I think the other advantage is it will make it easier to get in and out of a car with it.
I remember monsoon season growing up in Arizona. Nobody knows what it is in other parts of the states though. 😂
Can you review the Gaff Gun? My boyfriend wants one but I want to see it work. Btw , I love you channel!
Thanks for the review. My boyfriend saw this and was excited so I came looking for a test run. And as far as opening the umbrella in the house, no one does that it's bad luck lol.

Lmao, I open umbrellas in houses. No bad luck at all. If you ever think you do get bad luck because of something random you did, well that's just confirmation bias.
Thought that looked like vegas.
Need to test it in the wind. If doesn't break, then it's good
I did when our first big wind happened: ruclips.net/video/FGfARnqe8eE/видео.html

it is good. we also sell such umbrellas in china on Amazon.
we are supplier of this kind of umbrella, and also big beach umbrella.

If it’s raining why are you wearing sunglasses?
Do a comparison video to see what offers better protection in a thunderstorm...Betterbrella vs Mjolnir
i have never heard of a reverse umbrella before now.
Best line 1:13
best thing is that it folds upwards
At least it won’t break as easily as most umbrellas when the wind forces the umbrella to invert.
the land of no lawns....just rocks
I love Las Vegas. literally go down the street and get any type of food you want.
They should add a flexible pipe so you can drink the water it collects
this umbrella doesn't have any parts that get caught in your hair, but you probably don't need to worry about that anyway..
geeez! it's just weather.
No, Better Brella doesn't work for me, I prefer the compact standard size umbrella like the one you showed.
Fry's Electronics?
The whole premise of this product is that rain water is basically like acid, and you can't possibly have it on you...
That a nice jacket where can u find it bro?love your vids by the way
I picked that up at Burlington Coat Factory in 2016, and thank you!
Nice video
In the thumbnail I thought you were wearing a giant hat.
Boom...o wait...wrong site!
your reviews are great bro , I got the click belt after seeing your video
Thanks, I'm glad I could help!
Or you could give it an Aussie name, how bout the Folly Brolly

You live in Las Vegas!
why are you wearing sunglasses on a rainy day?
This could have been done in 90 seconds or less.
Any idea whether Trump could close THIS umbrella?
Somehow your teeth are always in the cover
Whaaaa my azzzzzzzz dat ting works???? 🤔
no way in hell i am paying $20 for that.
Who's here for casino giveaway?
IT DOES NOT IT WILL NOT LOCK BACK INTO PLACE AFTER SOME HIGH WIND. GARBAGE!!

Pointless umbrella..no different than the original umbrella..I can step out the car with a Family Dollar umbrella and stay dry.
