  • If you have an iPhone and don't want it to get damaged easily then this case made by Lanheim will do the job, their range of armoured cases for iPhones are made from cast metal, there's a front and back metal piece along with a silicone mould for your phone that makes it shock proof in the event you accidently drop it etc. The metal and silicone parts all fit together nicely and are held with six Allen bolts, there are two Allen keys included along with spare screws.
    There is also an included screen protector, which does work but in my experience I prefer to remove that and opt for a glass type screen protector as I have found the gestures etc don't work too well with a similar case I have with my iPhone, although they may have since improved it and you may find it no problem at all it's just personal preference really.
    When tightening or loosing the little black Allen screws you must be case not to strip them, so just tighten enough. There's are several case colours available too, and once in a while you'll want to take the case apart to remove dust and debris.
    If you would like to buy one of these cases then please use our link below, thank you!

    Your video helped A LOT (instructions that came with sucked.) But I got very dizzy with your constant phone moment. Maybe invest in a tripod? Anyway. Thanks! I was going to throw it away until I saw this.

    So my 13 yr old son had screws come out and already used the spares (probably he overtightened). I cannot find anywhere the type/size of the screws so I can order more...can you help? Thx!!

      @Conrad Harris I use a seacomo one only way they come out is if you strip the screws via overtightening had it for 2 years and this product is a clone of one I use

    This case is an absolute tank. I'm not sure about charging in the case, but I hope it will disperse heat well.

      Well if you watched the review you would see it's easy to charge via the bottom part and there is no heat issues either.

      the little part threads through the hole then you put the thicker part though it like a loop.

    Noticed signal went from 3 to 2 bars. Does it effect it or just bad timing?

    I had this before and the problem of this in the long run is that the color or the paint on the metal will peel off.

    • @DanielJohnHowTo
      @DanielJohnHowTo  Год назад

      this is also my experience, the paint comes off with normal use.

    Good looking case (I was considering buying it) but between the hassle of dealing with micro-screws (that you need a wrench for) to take out the phone, and the issues of blocked/decreased signal strength...I think I'll pass.

    • @DanielJohnHowTo
      @DanielJohnHowTo  Год назад

      I've had no issues with signal strength ever, the screws once don't generally come loose maybe a couple do but you tighten them up, it protects the phone well.

    Hey, has anyone had a loss of signal problem with this case? Looks like it's a faraday cage on my 12 Pro Max, I've got about 30% of internet speed

      @Conrad Harris I think it’s because cheap cases are poorly engineered, what I regret is the lack of feedback on comment on the market website... Now I’ll ne warned, no metal anymore, just polymer ;)

    I’ve been using these cases for years. They mess with your audio quality and they make your phone screen go black during phone calls

  • @ShadowTaker
    @ShadowTaker 3 года назад +3

    The reason why you where having so issues with swiping is because you have your own screen protector on the iPhone so that’s was on you not the manufacturer error

    • @DanielJohnHowTo
      @DanielJohnHowTo  3 года назад +1

      No actually, there was never two screen protectors only one and the included protector with the case on a bare iPhone screen doesn't work good enough hence removing the included protector from the case and using a separate one.
