Well, I finally did it. I just used the top of a watermelon, in order to have a recipient for the punch (hollowed just the bottom part, obviously). I got beginner's luck in that the result is quite okay :D But I encountered the very predictable challenges: preparing the fruit (taking the peel away smoothly), losing a petal cause I knifed through it. But I had fun, I didn't hurt myself and it looks good! Thanks for the tutorial :D

This pattern is the basis of carving techniques .... need to see more how to cut, holding and turning the knife.
