Wow! Who knew......this would be no. 1 hit show when Cookie meets Lucious? Unforgettable moments!! This is really beautiful -so bitter sweet! I'm going to miss running home to get everything in order just so to watch Cookie, Lucious and ALLLL the drama with no interruptions!!! 😢😍
Watching Empire made me realise that men suffer more emotionally and no one gives a damn. Season 5 have seen Lucious going through hell yet no one seems to be bothered. But if what he went through was to be suffered by a woman, then the whole world will come to know about it. Cookie didnt treat Lucious right in that season, and since I didnt watch season 6 yet I dont even have energy for it anymore. I felt dissapointed of how she neglected Lucious emotionally yet snapped at every little thing he did wrong. The man didnt even put any foot wrong in season 5, yet instead of her seeing that he loved her, she threw his love for her back into his face. Now seeing alot of clips that they divorced in season, I dont even give a damn to why, but If I were in Lucious's feet, I will be gladly walk away. I love these two together since day one,, but season 5 just made me reconsider to whether I really want them together again. Cookie was so selfish I couldnt handle that. Lucious obviously has done some unpordonable things in the past, but he has always sown Cookie that he loves her, and that was the reason we all wanted them together, but when your partner torture you emotional and make you feel worthless, then there is no point in holding into that love. Love is an emotion, without that it's pointless. What puzzled me the most in season 5 was Cookie blaming Lucious for every other thing when she was the one at faulty. Lucious might be a son of a bitch but he do acknowledge when he is wrong, Cookie on the other hand is self righteous, she blames everybody but herself, that is just some bulls. And the other, their relationship is full of nonsense because they never talked things out, that does not help the situation, because the one whose wronged will carry the pain and the hurt without healing. If they could just talked to each how they feel about most of what happened they could make a great couple. But I love them though 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Monika Naholo I won’t spoil season 6 for you but I will tell you that Cookie had to find and remember who Loreatha is and was. She is still struggling with the 17 years she was gone. Since she came home she has been trying to gain a place back in her family’s life. Gain a sense of independence and maintain this love with a man she knew 17 years ago. Lucious had to remember the reasons why he fell in love with her in the first place. And by doing so he had to break down the walls he has had up around his heart for the last 17 years. And Cookie has to break those very same walls she built up in order to survive prison without her family by her side. NOBODY came to see her for 17years, that’s a very long time to feel as if you are not loved. Lucious has To learn to relove her on an emotional level so that he could better love her on a physical and spiritual level. Their love and bond is strong and remember this LOVE CONQUERS ALL! I challenge you to watch season 6. You will not be disappointed 🥰🥰

I wonder why the writers kept messing up their union. I am glad though that none of them died at the end. I enjoying watching the show. I wish to have all seasons on DVD to rewatch it again. Writers changed at the start of Season 4. Sometimes new writers take characters in some very baffling directions that DON'T work, and have the viewers angry. No matter what, we were introduced to Cookie as loyal enough to stay quiet for 17yrs , That person would NEVER cheat on Lucious......I was unpleasantly surprised when she was with Damon

okay watching this i realized how wrong cookie was for blaming the andre self harm situation on him, she didn't stop and realize that there was almost NEVER a time where the boys came to him first it's always cookie ; that one time held a tight place in his heart because it made him from my opinion think that his sons seen that he was trustworthy for real this time & was really trying for his family completely. Another thing if andre would have went to cookie and or lucious told cookie she would have tried to stop him which is understandable I get but dre was TIRED, mentally & emotionally he couldn't do it anymore and we can all get a clear view why , he didn't wanna fight and maybe self harm wasn't the best idea but the man was tired of fighting he gave up. Last but not least the kingsley announcement i'll give her it would have been better if he said it first but she had ZERO rights to be angry with lucious!! the ONLY way she had a right was because he didn't tell her instanly but he knew how it would go so of course he didn't either would i.
