Glad to see it crashing personally. Company greed needs to be checked. 5 years old bourbon for 80 bucks shouldn’t be the norm. Hoarders also have created this and now are cutting spending while they have created an artificial demand.
The background (not too subtle of a flex) is why there's a bust. Hunters became hoarders thus supply became artificially wonky. I'm taking couple of years off of buying just to enjoy the tons of bottles I have. You'd be surprised how much money you'll save in one month.
Great video. Due to the higher prices it has forced me to take a look at other options. In a lot of cased I've discovered other options that I like more or are a better value. The bigger distilleries are losing there loyalty base.
Idk if you’ve done a collection reveal video or anything, but that storage rack is insane! You have so much good bourbon, would be curious to see the whole thing
I certainly don't " feel bad " for the distillers getting back to normal production. Are they really "LOSING" money. Meh - allocated/ special releases are only available to the few- so they created this shortage per se, and now they need to pivot before more bourbon people do. Flood the market with good juice at a reasonable price and we will all buy it. Like you said - good distillers doing the right thing will still prosper... No place for bad juice anymore
I get being frustrated about prices but people have shown they will pay higher prices on secondary. Why wouldnt the producer increase the msrp? The bourbon community is more to blame than the producer imo.
Honestly I am not sure I don't know the details of how much is ship/sold. I just know some of the bigger distillerys I have talk to believe they can weather the storm of tariffs.
Price increases are tied to supply and demand. If folks are willing to buy at the higher price and the supply is still getting cleared out, most companies will keep increasing prices until the demand drops. Sorry, but this is capitalism. Most companies have investors that are in it for the money, not the passion for the product.
The bet is that there might be way more supply than demand. Lots and lots of inventory on the market, stores don’t want to keep all the excess bottles in the warehouses, and so they dump bottles on the market. If demand stays the same or even slumps do to loss of accessible markets (tariffs) tightening wallets (consumers) then we should see bottle prices drop unless sellers want to warehouse bottles to create a fake scarcity.
The big boys can weather the storm......Craft bottlers?....Not so much. Love WT products, but Campari is making bank on all those limited editions ( for the FOMO crowd). Can all got to h*ll !
Sorry but Pursuit United is going to get crushed. When every RUclipsr starts praising them when talking about the downturn it means there’s blood in the water. I’m sure they’re just hoping to get some traction going to sell out to a big player and not take a massive loss.
zbiotics.com/BOURBONKINGDOM15?
Hopefully prices come down and availability picks up. Take care of yourselves out there, and remember.... alcohol is a poison. Enjoy responsibly!!!
No wonder we can't find any Stagg, Zach has it all!🤣
10 years in the making lol.
There’s enough single barrels for a Patreon barrel pick

Possibly a collective chunk of people realizing that centering your free time and expenditure on alcohol is a bad idea.
Great job on this Zach. We appreciate it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for showing off the entire rack of Stagg picks 😂

Re higher prices on allocated: I would prefer the profit to go to the distillery rather than the scum selling on secondary.
It’s about time for a market correction.
Dude, you have a big brain in that big ol' noggin! But seriously: Very insightful analysis! Well done. Keep it up.
Thanks buddy.
Awesome video, I like this style. Bourbon news!!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Solid stuff here

How do you think Canada not selling American spirits is going to affect the market?
cough...(.E.U.).....?

A minor suggestion, I think it might be better to not have background music while giving your thoughts.
The video was so much more enjoyable without Dave 😂. Just kidding Dave
Do I see about 20+ Stagg store picks or is that some optical illusion like a mirror or something? Do my eyes deceive me? Lol
No not all are stagg picks lol.
Tell the to come down in prices then

Solid shelf of Stagg! Don’t see much of that in my area. Thanks for the video.

I called someone out over their clear bias for Pursuit and Pursuit came into the comments to defend them. Not a good look.
