I fish lefferts also have you caught any other channel cats there since all I have gotten is bull heads I have seen this fish while kayaking there it came up right next to the boat I'm not sure if it was the same one but I always see her swimming up top for some reason
+SuperGoatproductions Thats her!!!! She cruises the lake all the time, I see her all the time around the dock and the aquaduct on the opposite end when were on the boat... But no, the lake does not have a channel cat population. What most likely happened is this catfish was someones pet years ago in their fish tank and they decided to release it into the wild because it got too big for the tank. Ive fished there for cats a plethera of times with no reports of anyone else pulling channel cats out. But please spread the news on the great white catfish! If you do catch her please release her...

My buddy caught it and thought about mounting it... but when we found out how much it would be.. well... we didnt mount it.. lol
what part of the lake is it, I live like 5 minutes away from this lake

sry for the late reply... its the public dock right by the boat launch... we saw this fish again there in november of 2017... it still lives!
