Scott Pringle is actually my favourite member of the group, but hearing this song without him makes me appreciate Scott & Nate in their own unique ways even more!
I ignored TDS on YT because I didn't think I liked bluegrass but I gave them a lookin and now I listen to them every day. I was lucky enough to see them live in the UK recently. They are bloody fab.
It's not really bluegrass it's based in bluegrass, but a bluegrass guitar player would be plucking a base line then hitting the cord it's a boom chuka rhythm with a g run at the end.I like it though.
I saw the Good Company video at least a year ago, it was catchy and fun. It popped up again recently, and this time I was smart enough to check these guys out further, and was just blown away by songs like this. This is not my grandma's bluegrass, and it's amazing. I bought Good Company and the live CD, and they are terrific.
First two albums were great. 3rd and 4th average at best. This is a cracking tune when for me they were at their raw best. The accusations against the 'bass' player were unsavoury and he should have departed. Poor form to let him back in.
