Factory Toyota alternator will put out only 13.3-13.5v as it's a temp controlled alternator.
Do the diode trick for the fuse and you'll see 14.4v

How do you get the belt off please?

14mm on the tensioner and hold it to the right. You will want some leverage so a long ratchet or spanner. You'll see the pully move and the belt loosen.
