- Arminia Bielefeld are back in the Bundesliga! Which is quite an achievement given there's a long-running conspiracy theory in Germany that asserts the city of Bielefeld doesn't actually exist. It sounds crazy, but Kick off! reporter Max Merrill decided to check things out, just to be sure. While he was there, he let us know what to expect from the Bundesliga's newest team.

DW Kick off! Too bad Wyoming doesn’t have a sports team, because that might’ve been cheaper to render than the “city” of Bielefeld. All you need is 100 people, some generic flat farmland, a few cows and that’s pretty much it.

I was in Bielefeld 2 years ago.
As a fan of history I had to meet the memorial of Arminius in Detmold (I stayed in Lemgo for 3 days), so, in my Eurotrip I had to stopped in Bielefeld. Lovely and nice city.
I just finished watching Barbarians on Netflix. And now RUclips suggested me this video. Sigh.

Always a soft spot for Arminia Bielefeld.
As a Schalke fan from the U.S., they were the opponent of the only Schalke game I've seen live (in 1997). We stayed in the same hotel as Bielefeld and had breakfast with the team all around. Spoke to one of their players who was pretty surprised to learn we were only in Gelsenkirchen for the game.
A great experience, hope they stay up.
