This trend has been very obvious in the video game industry for the last like 5 years among USA based developers. They really go out of their way to make female characters unattractive. I wouldn't say they make them hideous but they obviously intentionally limit feminine beauty. It's almost like they view ugliness to be a virtue so they virtue signal by making their characters ugly. Well, female ones anyway. Leading men are generally still designed to be gigachad types. Only male bad guys or joke male characters are made unattractive. Interesting how that works.

I hear you, Matt! I've noticed how everything (from the way people look, to architecture, to interior style, etc) has gotten ugly (and devoid of any real class or formality, etc). It's So Depressing. But as soon as I've ever openly spoken my mind and protested it, I was the one who was always criticized for having the problem (and not being hip, etc). I'm happy that I'm obviously not alone in noticing all of this (thanks to people like you, etc).
All people are aware of this, they simply don't wish to express their feelings. Possibly due to feeling 'one person's' opinion makes no matter. It's the artificiality that deprives the body and mind of the natural stimulation that it literally lives on. We collectively must discard the thought that we can break the laws of creation without incurring drastic consequences. All for supposed 'convenience'. Someone, somewhere is selling all of this and we need a 'boycott'.
Largely speaking our society needs to stop enabling victim culture. Being a victim is sad. I've been a victim of many others in my life and have suffered a lot at the hands of people who were supposed to care about me, but ultimately I am responsible for my choices and actions and who I am as an adult and what I do and how I cope. It's way more damaging to enable these toxic behaviors. These people seek attention, in some cases thinking negative attention is better than none at all - probably stems from something in childhood development, especially lack of parental affection or absent parent. We can feel bad for victims, but that doesn't mean we have to let them continue to victimize themselves in order to continue their own perceived victimhood. It's incredibly damaging.
When I see what goes on in a lot of countries other than America (even if this country is New Babylon). I want to cry. Thank you God, that I was born here. Even when I’m ungrateful. I think to my self, I have so much, so why should I complain.
And they are even taking it a step further and equating not being a victim to being a perpetrator. I wish I knew how to combat this insidious marxism that seems to be creeping in everywhere. We are all being pitted against eachother, women are taught that men are keeping them down, minorities are taught that white people are keeping them down, etc. The left are hl bent on destroying all social cohesion and sense of community in favor of a Big Brother authoritarian state. How to stop these leftists though??
It's also tautological. "A horse is most beautiful when the horse looks like a horse." If you don't know what a horse or a woman is the statement is meaningless, there's also the fact at my subjective understanding of what a woman is "supposed" to look like is different from your subjective understanding. You have no ability to say your understanding is superior from mine, the person in the TikTok, or Matt's, understanding of what a woman looks like.
@@sam7559 Everyone knows what a woman looks like. You don't need to be told. There might be specifics in mind that you prefer, but 99 percent of what ppl think of for "woman" would be indentical.

I had a full on Britney Spears break down about two years ago and shaved my whole head bald. Regretted it so much. now my hair is shoulder length and I'm not cutting it ever again. I have been severely abused in a lot of ways over my life, and I finally realized lately that I don't need to be ugly to avoid these things. I just make better decisions in order to not get into those situations.
@tenacioustrees.8737 I was, but that didn't bother me (I never much cared what my peers felt about me). It was physical and emotional from family and partners. I am alright now, I have an amazing fiance whom I love very much 😁 It's not your appearance that matters. It is who you are around and how you think of yourself. I had to take a long time of being alone and figuring out what I truly want in order to make those changes in my life. It's alright to stop and reflect, but nothing will change if you don't make it change.
Yes!!! Anything to be opposite of norms. I was asking my 20 year old what is going on with the thing of shaving lines in eyebrows. She said, I dunno, it's cool, though. She's a really great young lady and doesn't go with every trend, but she sided with these people that just do whatever is not normal. Why?

Most people aren't ugly, they are just ordinary looking. The problem is when ordinary types are so envious they are not the "best looking," they mutilate their unique look.
Doesn’t work that way, one thing beauty is associated with is health like a long or strong shiny hair, a fit body, etc. As you age your body at some point starts to deteriorate. In west hygiene & bodies vary & there is a lot of processed unhealthy foods. In East Asia people are slimmer because being fat for them is like a sin & their foods are healthier. Not all are the same but they are very clean people.

yes thats what ive been trying to say, no reason to disrespect or make people who are overweight feel bad or shamed, but we cant ignore that obesity is a huge killer.
The acknowledgement is very important! Possibly the most important step in getting better in anything. As someone who was formerly obese I promise you can do it!! And you will feel so much better about it! Just remember, you are losing weight because YOU want to and YOU want to be healthy, keep that in mind and you will do fine. God Bless.
My sons ex did this. She used to be a cute and sweet girl. Then she got into liberalism. The more she got into it the stranger she started looking and acting. After I was sexually assaulted, I made myself ugly for years. It wasn’t conscious, it was some weird protective move. A new friend I had made pointed out my habit of making myself ugly in the boldest way possible, and it snapped me out of my delirium immediately. I sought counseling a while later and I am better. I don’t think that looking like a normal female is dangerous anymore. I have to give some of these girls the benefit of the doubt and pray that they, too, snap out of it.
Girl I am so sorry you went through that and I’m glad you are doing better. 🙏🏻 I kind of fell into the same hole a few years back. I was never assaulted praise the Lord, but I was bullied for my appearance and had a deathly fear of men. (My mother told me and my sister horrible things about men growing up) and it was engraved in my brain. I didn’t even realize it, but I always made an effort to seem unattractive and extremely masculine for a woman. It wasn’t until I got saved and became Christian I realized why I was doing this- I had a horrible hatred of myself being a woman, and hated men. I saw femininity as weakness. So, I acted masculine as a hope that maybe I wouldn’t be a such a risk for being sexually assaulted, harassed, etc. by men. Sense then the Lord has healed me and I found the truth about being a woman- femininity is something far from weakness, extremely strong and beautiful!
Exactly what I’ve been saying on almost every comment going so hard at her. Some people who are abused attribute the abuse to their appearances. And it’s very normal for person to take away what causes them pain( example by hiding behind all these modifications). Everyone deals with tragedy differently and I think one wicked thing we can do as humans is judge someone for not being as strong as the next person, instead of helping. We are so quick to judge without even knowing what tragedies a person must have gone through. 😕
Same. I resent men looking at me admiringly since some past trauma. I don’t like to feel like guys see/notice me, so I for years I did just dress in a very sloppy fashion. Now I’m trying to come more into my own and not be worried anymore. It can really skew your mind.
It's a broken heart showing on the outside when someone distorts themself like that. I'm sorry for what happened to you and I'm so glad you took the step to seek healing. Thank you so much for sharing this. It's true that our culture has embraced ugliness, but our culture is made up of hurting, broken people. God bless you always.
Humble people have a charm to them. It somehow manifests physically. Idk how but it does. You may not look like someone on a mag cover, but your surely graceful and nice to look at.
Growing in holiness will help transcend this fleshy fact (in this world and certainly the next). Love your God and remember He loves you and that we are in His divine providence. Screw it. Let 'em be ugly all they want. To each their own. It's their bodies their choice. In the meantime, the rest of us can continue being beautiful.

We must dispose of the myth that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". It was his point about standards that should clue us into this hideous phenomenon. Beauty isn't subjective, it is objective. There are standards whether anyone likes it or not. Those who ditch the objective end up looking like that girl.
@@barbaraepley7032 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder in the arts, I think. Warhol is complete nonsense to some people but you can still appreciate the thought and effort and craft put into the idea of it (Gold Marilyn Monroe is a beautiful piece of art). More in things like music, visual art, and literature, and less things like architecture - brutalist buildings are absolute eyesores though I'm sure someone else might think the idea of "democratizing" architecture is beautiful. Real life though if we're talking about physical beauty it's definitely more of a question of what looks healthy vs. what looks diseased and possibly scary/mentally ill, which is what Matt here is calling "ugly". I agree with you that these standards exist for a reason, and it's not a good idea to completely jettison your natural appearance to "match" what you feel inside.
I’ve been saying for years…you can tell how a person feels about themselves by how they present themselves. When you hate yourself…you’ll find different ways to express self loathing.
It's one thing to have a few extra pounds, it's another to purposely gain weight and her face piercings and chop your hair off and dye what's left some weird color.
When my family relocated from Atlanta to Seattle in 2012 I got sick & tired of everyone & I mean everyone, including total strangers, asking me what I was "so dressed up for" every time I left the house looking decent. Everyone here either looks like they're homeless, just got out of bed or going to the gym.
LA is the same.. For a city full of superficial narcissists, most of the people here wear junk clothing (“athleisure” style... 🤢🤮) and have no real sense of personal style. I don’t think it’s coincidence that I get treated better when I go out in public (at restaurants, retail stores, retail service providers, etc.) than the clowns who wear sweat pants and/or sneakers. And it’s not like you have to spend a lot of money for good styles. I get most of my clothes from GoodWill... I’m just really picky about my purchases because I want to look professional and well put-together.
Same where I'm from. I prefer to dress business-casual or corporate wear for work-- and I feel so out of place when I go anywhere. Everyone dresses incredibly casual, even at work sometimes. I get stares because dressing professionally does look good on everyone, but I also get stares because no one else is dressed that way. 😅 currently I'm a real estate agent; switching to insurance and finance advising so hopefully it'll be different. I can't wait for the 40s and 50s styles to come back-- or at least just dressing better. And don't get me started on how hard it is to find non-casual business clothes for women
the trend is more about "hey, look at me" than it is about a quest for ugly. I believe that there is no design or end game from folks who begin their transition to ugly. Each step of the way is part of their goal to say, HEY, LOOK AT ME!
I saw a lot of this in college. It was like some of the women in my class caught a disease, the weight came, the weird hair, the piercings, like the phases of a disease taking hold. I remember the vicious looks I got walking around in my business casual feminine clothes with my long hair and light makeup.
I went through that phase, I can attest it depression and trying to exclude myself from others before they could exclude me. Then I lost the weight, gained insight, realized life is easier when you look attractive lol
This is spiritual warfare. Many of these young people (also old) are being brainwashed, and I will go as far as to say even possessed. Influenced by negative forces. Yes, it’s real.

There’s also the reverse side side of the coin where woman choose not to age gracefully with natural beauty but instead get Botox and plastic surgery and end up looking like a mutated clown. It’s a perversion of beauty.
That couldn’t possibly be anything to do with the pressure heaped on women by videos like this for them to be and remain rigidly within the male definition of beautiful
Age gracefully?Heck, they inject themselves with fillers/botox and get surgeries from their late teens and early twenties!! I'm 41 and look fresher than some of them, no young person needs filler and botox ffs!!! It's insane!!!
I was in a job meeting the other day. They said it was not a value to be honest, that being honest could be ofensive, so they didnt want honesty to be one of the drivers of our company. The devil is taking over culture and is disgusting

The ugliness trend in humans is not just purposeful, it's symptomatic of unhappiness. I learned this as a classroom teacher when I noticed that the cruelest teacher in the school also had the ugliest students year after tragic year.
That's fascinating. I also feel once people let go of a standard of beauty of morality, that being no source and reason for it, they seek wild choices and stretching freedom as a source of possible happiness because being nice and pretty doesn't really make sense if life is only here and made up of molecules
I was sexually assaulted multiple times, I sometimes try to put on more clothes to make my body look weird when out and around other men. I hate when people look at me. I think that’s why people try to look ugly.
Men look at you weird and say sexual things to you that you don’t like and when you reject them they always say I’m just giving you a compliment !!!!! Stfu
"Virtue aims at the beautiful" - Aristotle. Since they hate that which is virtuous, they hate beauty. Likewise the transcendentals, the true, the good, and the beautiful, are in direct opposition to what they stand for.
I suppose it's a matter too of whether or not they even realize they hate beauty morally, or are just projecting their own self-hatred onto others and assuming that others are just as morally bereft and bankrupt as them, and that other people are just better at "hiding" it. This is largely the thought process that informs Narcissistic Personality Disorder, for example. I doubt they realize they hate it beauty or virtue. That would require self-awareness.
First clip worries me. Many times when a young girl purposely makes herself unattractive its because she is being sexually abused and wants to be seen as ugly and gross thinking it will deter the abuser.
@@LizNeptune I wouldn't say Matt is ignorant. He is clearly educated and has morally aligned views. remember reading a story online about a girl who identified as nonbinary so she got stitched "down there" and had surgery so it was smooth, and she was talking about it as if something happened to her in the past, "the feeling of never being penetrated again" and it just seemed like she had some unresolved trauma that needed to be looked at but yet people encouraged her to go thru with something so extreme
Any doctor that agreed to do that surgery should have their license taken away. They obviously don't understand how the female body functions enough to advise a delusional person of the multiple reasons how doing that can screw up their health. What does she do during periods? The infections caused from messing up the bacterial balance down there?etc. It's not just a "sex hole" 😒
I didn’t know that was even something that you can do only time I heard about that was in Africa when they would circumcise girls. All I can say is that in the future they’re definitely gonna regret that severely.

The law was brought to court where the judge shot down the proposed law. The judge said that to stop men from looking at a pretty woman that is scantily dressed, he would have to undo the evolution of human beings.
My response: well then, if that becomes law, then women can’t stare at muscular, half-naked men (like life guards) on the beach, either. See how well that works out, lol 😂

I couldn't agree more with your observations about current buildings. Walmart for example in my town doesn't even have flooring, it is literally a metal box with an exposed concrete slab for the floor. I watched a show once on the science of beauty where they spoke of the math behind what shapes and ratios are considered beautiful to humans. You would think that this knowledge with help use create more beauty, but instead, it seems like beauty is being stripped from every aspect of human life. As for individual people choosing to make themselves ugly, I think that natural selection will take care of that on it's own ;)
I wonder if Walmart does that for safety? Concrete has more friction than the tile they usually use in their stores. Maybe it reduces the risk of slip and fall accidents?
This has troubled me so much. I look around and grieve for the suffering I see on people. To be ugly is less intimidating, threatening to other women. To stick it to "men". They think they are being edgy and different. But I also think for some who have been abused in past use it so they are less likely to be re-abused. I always say to my husband modern buildings are ugly as hell. Everything is plain and sad.
@@blob5907 no I'd not abuse anyone due to looks or anything other than how they treat me. As someone who has been abused. I am explaining how abuse victims can think. It's known that many women who were sexually abused or raped gain weight so men will find them less attractive (means less risk to be abused or raped again) as well as food being a coping mechanism. Less attractive means less likely to attract attention. I used to wear zero makeup, wore my hair in a ponytail and wore baggy mens clothing. It was an attempt to to not gain their attention and less likely to be harnessed, abused or raped again (even though I was 6-10 years old and it was my stepfather).
@@blob5907 I just got bullied for not wearing makeup, and baggy boys/mens clothing. But I'd take words over physical abuse (which affects you physically and mentally).
It is true. Women were nicer to me when I became overweight. I lost all the weight and became healthier, but I'm hitting hard on 40, so I'm not a threat. Women can go back to hating the 20-year-olds. Seriously, the Snow White syndrome is real and I did run into it a lot in young adulthood on the job. Its like jeez, I just want to work, I'm not looking to fuck your husband.
5:21 I’m a half-French half-American guy living in Paris, and actually they’ve finally decided to build the spike identically to the original one (thank God, really). I’ve seen the offers some architects made to do a weirdly-shaped modern metallic spike, and I’m bewildered anyone would propose that! This is an 800-year-old church, adding a modern piece of crap like that will never repare the damage. We’ve already been traumatized enough with the place burning down in the first place.
Actually, the cathedral is being properly restored. The monstrosity you mentioned was a proposal only. France knows Notre Dame is one of their biggest tourist attractions and would be foolish to ruin it.
THANK YOU!!! I have been saying this for YEARS. I miss 10+ years ago when beauty and femininity was embraced. Women used to have short hair and still be feminine and pretty. Halle Berry was known for rocking a pixie cut and still being a gorgeous woman. I'm a 24 year old woman who only wears dresses and skirts and when people find that out they are very surprised and confused as to why I don't wear pants. As if a woman wearing a DRESS is so shocking???
SAME. I'm a 15 year old girl who loves wearing dresses, skirts, and pink. I have short hair but I'm trying to grow it out and I'd love to make myself look even more feminine and girly with make up but idk how 🤷♀️ it's ok tho I'll learn 🎀💗🌸
I have short hair but I’m feminine, and because of this new “trend” or emos of what ever people make fun of me and call me emo, and say all girls with short hair are and one time they said any one with short hair is emo, he had a mf buzz cut 🤣
I am almost a half-century older than you, and I recall clearly the "skirt shaming" agenda that was ubiquitous during the 1970's during the third wave of the feminist movement. The Virginia Slims cigarette commercials (targeted for women), TV shows, and Hollywood movies were all in for this phase of the sexual revolution. Male-bashing was a feature of every sitcom and the physical superiority of females was carefully scripted into the plots of hundreds of movies. It looks fairly certain that the attitudes in society have already exceeded the critical mass for the total moral breakdown for which the sexual revolution was intended. The process began about a hundred years ago and has been fueled by Hollywood and radical social engineers. In the book, "Hollywood Babylon" (1975), author Kenneth Anger writes of Marlene Dietrich: "By all accounts a joyous bisexual with an appetite for many loves, Marlene kept the magazines chirping right through the Thirties. Her passel of girlfriends was dubbed "Marlene's Sewing Circle." They were not lesbians, like Nazimova's gang, but good-time Charlenes who, like Marlene, swung both ways....The vision of Marlene in a man's tuxedo proved irresistible to members of the international set: author Mercedes d'Acosta and millionairess Jo Carstairs, both of whom were very much at home in masculine attire themselves...It was in 1932, while her Sewing Circle was forming, that Marlene started wearing "man drag" off screen; a nationwide vogue, women-in-slacks, was launched. The ambisex allure of Marlene in "man drag" was magnified by her Svengali, Josef von Steinberg, who managed to include a scene of her dressed as a man in each of the films they made together..."
I like to wear t shirts and pants as a girl lol but don't push the idea that we're less feminine wearing that bc we definitely aren't. However i do like to look physically feminine tho. But as for fashion i like a more tomboy style. Just don't say it's less feminine cuz it definitely ain't, i just like to wear casual clothes😒 Casual is a good style too
If a woman tries her very best to look beautiful and is still criticized, it is devastating to her ego. But if she gives up and becomes ugly, then the criticism is warranted, and therefore she feels accomplished.
You get harsh criticism for what ever choices you make as a women. If you don't wear makeup you are lazy and if you look too pretty and care too much you are wrong. You personality and thoughts dont matter
@Gangari TheWanderer Both men and women get criticism but it's different because they aren't the same, none gets it worse (unless you're woke, then women get it better 100% of the time)
I agree with that, the beauty standards for women are very high - I have to do my hair, nails, body hair removal, skincare, dress nicely, shoes, makeup every day (I'm a teacher so I have to look nice at work (I know some fellow teachers got criticised for not wearing makeup/not doing hairstyles cause they "don't look as if they try to present themselves properly"!!!)... mind you I work and I have a family, so that's actually not cheap and it is time consuming, and than ohhh you have scars on your legs from when you were a kid and fell from a bike - ohhh no, ugly, horrible, go remove them! Are you kidding me! aggghhhh!!!!
@Gangari TheWanderer You know grass is always green on other side. Women face a lot of ogling from perverts. Men face ogling far less. A lot of women do feel it's safer to be average to not attract attention. Also if women doesn't like makeup and chooses to just do basic grooming that's fine too. It should not be forced on women to always beautiful themselves.
Never agreed with you more Matt. I'm only 26, though the older I'm becoming the more I admire old cars, architecture and art, especially music. We seem to be trying to make cheap beautiful but most people see right through it.

I used to make myself ugly for years because I was scared of attention, especially male attention. I didn´t want them to look at me or notice me. I didn´t have piercings or anything, but I wore baggy old clothes, no make up, I didn´t brush my hair and didn´t try to keep my body slim. I did take care of my skin and hair, but I didn´t want it to be visible. Few people then pointed it out to me and I realised that I was unconciously trying to cover myself up to avoid men looking at me. I got better and I started at least wearing clothes of my size, I sometimes also put make-up and girly outfits. I still feel a bit uncomforable looking well-kept around men, but it´s getting better. I know men won´t hurt me just because I look nice and looking at me doesn´t automatically mean they will try to use me, but ever since I got sexually assaulted in my teens, I could never feel good about my own beauty. I am learning to embrace it and stop being afraid of attention connected to my appearance.
I'm so sorry you got SA and it's not your fault for thinking that way. I'm sorry men did that to you & made you think your beauty is only for them. Men need to learn how to not be creepy regardless of what we look like, they are so gross. I hope u feel more comfortable in embracing yourself for you & that men learn how to F off
I'm so sorry for you and I'm so happy to read that you are slowly getting more comfortable within your own skin. Go ahead and be your pretty self girl, you deserve it. Big hug!
I’ve been talking about the ugliness of modern buildings for so long. I was in Barcelona once and there was these beautiful old buildings that were just amazing to look at and right next to them you had a modern cubic shoebox. I don’t understand how these people get planning permission. Same in my city, there’s a beautiful old red brick train station and right next to it they built a horrible, black cubic monstrosity. There’s no pride in architecture anymore
It's easy for an attractive person to make themselves unattractive being they can reverse this when they like. but for us unattractive people, we find this inconceivable cause it doesn't work the same way for us ugly people
Well, from a selfish point of view, I don't mind. Not only do we normal women not have to be worried about our Husbands running off with a younger model, we also know that we get a LOT of attention from normal men. I would call that a win.
I agree with you, but it does pain me for these women. I’m deeply concerned for their state of heart, I can only imagine how dark and sad it must be. But like everyone else they make their own choices and can stop being a victim anytime they choose. 🤷🏻♀️
From an unselfish view we have to help them. Remember in Pretty woman they wouldn't let Julia Roberts into the shop, look how that turned out, she came back with loads of money.
It's weird right now. You have women who wear 15 layers of makeup to do as much manipulation or whatever now. Then you also have people who literally are making themselves ugly on purpose. Where are the normal people at?
I really appreciate that you’re pointing out the lack of beauty in our culture. From people, to buildings, to art, and even the stories we tell, very few things are made in a truly beautiful way. I would love to see beautiful buildings make a come back, we have the technology to make incredible things, but we don’t. We need to bring back baroque architecture, music, art, and fashion. #BringBackBaroqueBaby
We don't need to artificially bring baroque back, we just need to embrace beauty NOW and beautiful things will be created in whatever way is uniquely inspired. There is a kind of beauty that exists now in 2021, we just need to recognize it and encourage beauty in the world.
@@deepwildviolet so true! I think we have an economy of convenience that drives us to create cheap knock-off of what was intended to be beautiful and novel (like modern architecture). This makes everything look boring and drab, which does a work in the soul. I think baroque is gaudy, but now more than ever, we have competent people to create design that beautifully fits our culture!
@@carawadley317 agreed! If you look even at old radiator grates from the 30s or 40s, they are beautiful and ornate. Even clothes and other items made in the home during the great depression were often painstakingly crafted to be both lovely and durable. As a Christian I believe that part of our participation in Gods Creation is honored by making all work from our hands as beautiful and "sturdy" as possible. And as a nurse, making that statement is very self-convicting. 😁 But I am very positive about a movement toward beauty, especially as interest in old art forms is rekindled in younger generations and some innovations also flow from that. Its worth noting though that in order to recognize and create beautiful things, you have to be taught what is beautiful and exposed to it in some way. So lets keep educating ourselves daily in the good, true, and beautiful. :)
Hey! You’ll have to beat me out first ! I also bathe daily , hate drugs and love my kid. Oh and I don’t torcher beagles or build super bugs in my bathroom lab. I’m amazingly boring. Take that !

This just seems like a consequence of postmodernism. If we do away with standards of quality and assume that ugly things are just as valid as beautiful things, then why put in any effort anymore?
I think ugly things can be just as valid as beautiful things in the case of *art*, but postmodernism is extremely dangerous as a political and philosophical movement because it largely jettisons ideas that are fundamental to sciences and notions of truth. Penderecki's piece Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima is atonal, screeching, discordant and does not adhere to "beauty" rules in classical music, but in doing so it successfully evokes the ugliness and tragedy as well as the power of the atom bomb. That being said, if the style is ugly and the substance is not it's probably not worth your time, and if someone is deliberately making garbage with zero effort put in that doesn't have any real analytic or creative value I wouldn't waste the time in giving it attention. It's still harder to make beauty in art, I think. They're just different approaches with different ends. Check out the piece sometime. It's quite cool. At one point the strings kind of sound like rubble falling on rubble.

It's a shame, I've seen a young lady at a past workplace who looked average, but OK, and one day she came in real ugly, with half shaved and purple hair, and all kinds of piercings, and I don't know what else, but what a surprise that was !
Two things- first of all, I started watching old movies with stars like Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn and I realized these women are so beautiful because they embrace femininity in their hair, makeup, and clothing. I strive to be like those women! And two, yes, architecturally America is ugly. I much prefer the European architecture of the Cotswolds in England and the cities in Italy.

Ugly = victim. Being a victim is now the highest moral virtue. Victims have high social status. They swim in pools of empathy and pity.

We are so quick to judge without even knowing what tragedies a person must have gone through. 😕

This is an 800-year-old church, adding a modern piece of crap like that will never repare the damage. We’ve already been traumatized enough with the place burning down in the first place.
I love architecture , especially the city of Venice
I just discovered this guy a couple of weeks ago. Love his channel. He says things I’m thinking. A mark of genius. 😉
I discover him few months ago in June or August I think. and love listen guy ever seen.
Hopefully you also listen to Ben Shapiro and Candace Owen
Yes indeed. 👍🏼😎
@@rubeng370 , I listen to Candace Owen sometimes.
But I'm no super genius...or are I?
You are truly rare and courageous for going against the tide. You have my highest respect and admiration. God bless you.
Just don't say it's less feminine cuz it definitely ain't, i just like to wear casual clothes😒 Casual is a good style too
People have a right to look how they want. However, you are not a victim if someone isn't attracted to you. They can't seem to comprehend that
If a woman tries her very best to look beautiful and is still criticized, it is devastating to her ego.
Sad but true.
At least they wont be harassed as much anymore. Good for them.
Never agreed with you more Matt. I'm only 26, though the older I'm becoming the more I admire old cars, architecture and art, especially music. We seem to be trying to make cheap beautiful but most people see right through it.
# 1940s & early 1950s Cars were/are BEAUTIFUL !!!
its called "modern" art and i fully agree with you.
I'm 45 years old, and the music we got talks cheap. There's no heart to them. The music back in the 60's, 70's, and 80's had meaning, they were fun, mellow. Now all there is is crap.
@@kristinadospoy7347What's your opinion on the band "Kansas"?
@@schylarvelez46 the only song I remember from them is "Dust in the Wind", but that was a great song
Matt’s intelligence and honesty is, ironically enough, beautiful. Let’s go back to the days where women are women, and men are men.
Women are women, and men are men? Wtf is that supposed to mean, as far as I know women are still women, and men are still men.
@@billwilson2160Even if men are not exactly the traditional version of men, and women aren't the traditional version of women, frankly who gives a shit. People odd to express themselves the way they see fit. If that means changing their look, to appear as something odd or far from what a normal men or women looks like who cares, let ppl be.
You made the most beautiful suggestion on earth! Let's go back to the way things SHOULD be!
Do you mean when women couldn't vote? Or have bank accounts? Or when we didn't have r*pe crisis centres or do you mean when we married ho out father arranged for us? When we had none of our own choices at all?
When men were men, and women were women! A beautiful era indeed!
Exactly! I never though of how ugly our buildings were until I went to D.C and saw how beautiful some of the older building were. Now a days most songs feel soulless to me and modern art is revolting to the eyes. There is no beauty, no higher meaning in modern art.
You speak so much sense!! I just love listening to your level headed intelligence & honesty.
That first one actually kind of made me sad. She looked a lot happier before, and she WAS beautiful. It's unfortunate how brainwashed she is into somehow thinking her current route was the right route to take. Smh.
San Francisco used to be a beautiful place.
I guess ugly is the new norm. Ugly is also the new stupid.
Ugly is the new norm of the political left. They excel in it.
Man, this is devastating. How could people do this to themselves?
because of self hatred.
I ask the same exact question. I don’t understand them.
Social media. Satan control the mass media. I may sound like a “religious” freak to people but it’s true. Just as someone who came out of Hollywood (on “end time productions”). He said that basically people act out what they see in screen. They think that is real life and how they are supposed to act and behave. If you haven’t noticed, behavior and ideologies in cinema/tv is getting worse. Morals are declining even faster and more than ever. Of course people would destroy themselves
One thing I know Satan loves to do:
1. Take away your true identity/confuse you and make you believe that you are something else that you aren’t
Us Christians call that spiritual warfare. I got delivered so I have my own experience. I wanted to do something perverse because of what I consumed through media and the internet. And now my perspective is forever changed. All credit is to the Holy Spirit.

Oh I notice the ugliness of modern buildings. They're so ugly I get depressed
This is their way to stick it to society and the patriarchy, but in reality it just makes them look like a clown and a laughing stock.
It's easy for an attractive person to make themselves unattractive being they can reverse this when they like. but for us unattractive people, we find this inconceivable cause it doesn't work the same way for us ugly people
its like those rich hipsters living in poverty and small houses . they do it because they can go back to their comfy big houses anytime.
i need to bleach my eyes after seeing that horrendous TikTok clip
For how serious the topic was Matt, you have a great sense of comedic timing. This is one of your best videos IMO
Well, from a selfish point of view, I don't mind. Not only do we normal women not have to be worried about our Husbands running off with a younger model, we also know that we get a LOT of attention from normal men. I would call that a win.
Lol
Honestly, I was thinking the same but I felt guilty thinking it. Less competition really 🤷🏾♀️
what do you think happens when there arent enough normal women to go around for men? This is not a good thing.
"Aesthetically deficient" 😄 i want this on a t-shirt.
I think it was "aesthetically"
@@KoopMalverde Auto correct has had an attitude lately.
It's weird right now.
You have women who wear 15 layers of makeup to do as much manipulation or whatever now.
Then you also have people who literally are making themselves ugly on purpose.
Where are the normal people at?
Good question 🤔
They're the silent majority
I love the way you put this all Matt.
Wow yes couldn’t agree more!
But I am very positive about a movement toward beauty, especially as interest in old art forms is rekindled in younger generations and some innovations also flow from that. Its worth noting though that in order to recognize and create beautiful things, you have to be taught what is beautiful and exposed to it in some way. So lets keep educating ourselves daily in the good, true, and beautiful. :)
That hashtag better be trending by the end of the day 😍
It is a reflection of their personalities

We are all beautiful man.
"Ugliness" it's created by social constructs.
Beauty standards have and will always change.
That's not actually what he was saying... If you listen to the beginning of his commentary...
Don't worry, physical beauty is not the only thing and not even the most impprtant thing that defines a person.
There’s 3 kinds - men, women, and……. Aliens
I'm striving to be the MOST OFFENSIVE person in America - No tattoos, piercings, get married to a woman, have kids, support Trump or Ron De Santis.
Hey! You’ll have to beat me out first ! I also bathe daily , hate drugs and love my kid. Oh and I don’t torcher beagles or build super bugs in my bathroom lab. I’m amazingly boring. Take that !
It's funny, I used to really blend in and it pissed me off. Now I haven't changed a thing and now I'm weird as hell in every group of people my age. *Score!!*

That is not offensive, but a revolutionary act!!!
I agree with all except for kids and pets. my family needs fresh air from the sea, Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires. we can't afford any more spending as it's each time more hostile zone in the north east
Matt, my classmate was looking for a Christmas gift on Amazon for his 7 year old sister and I attempted to persuade him to get her a set of Japanese hand crafted Komikoto knives. I hope you are proud.
That knife company is a massive scam btw
When I was in Canada back in 2000, I thought Quebec City was the most beautiful city in Canada. I loved those antique buildings. They were exquisite.
If only I had the money to travel to Europe.
