Great review, very comprehensive. Clearly, this shows Threezero's inexperience with combining figures. Hopefully they can improve their qc and design choices with future projects.
Presentation-wise Blitzway obviously has the best option, but for action figure ascetics I believe there's one that's got it beaten handily. It's a pain to find now, but Titan Power's Titan Beast King is insanely well articulated, well proportioned, and the metallic version looks great.
Pretty sure it was the original (Matchbox??) US release that the Yellow Lion had the sliding cannon. But I can tell you one ol' skool joint that *didn't* have it because of how it was designed for a different gimmick: the fugly one by Panosh Place. It offered something nobody else did at the time (compatibility with the action figures), but at the cost of design & accuracy. Despite that, their Black Lion and Blazing Sword were my favorite things about the set, as they were some massive behemoths that at least tried to look correct. All them QC issues on that ThreeZero Voltron...sweet mother of Primus, Unicron, and Gaea, that'd make MP10 blush...how did this steaming turd pass inspections, anywho?? The shield like throwing star lookin' thing is called the Spinning Laser Blade...a term that oddly makes more sense with Vehicle Voltron's version (the two propellers on the shoulder vehicles glow before being launched, also similar to J.B.'s Laser Lance in VR Troopers).
I don't know if Threezero made extra batches or what, but mine does not have ANY of the issues that you showed. No black lion tail popping off or anything else for that matter. The shoulders are great. They don't move when you move the arms. Maybe TZ tweaked it a bit? Who knows? Sorry yours frustrated you.
Dude idk man a lot of money for some flimsy looking cats. Also in my opinion it looks like they just lets say borrowed a lot of it from other companies like I can see a lot of blitzway with a lot of soul of chogokin. Price wise I’d just go with soul of chogokin. Wish I didn’t sell mine.
Man they look good but damn that’s a lot of money I mean man. Idk I wish someone would make a third party like a transformer team where you can buy one piece at a time maybe idk.
Those ships set sail back when Mattel's Matty Collector line did one and Playmates did two for mainline ("Classic 1984" & Legendary Defender); I *think* those may have been the only ones where you can get the lions individually.
3 zero done. Blitzway may be very nice but was it revolutionary? No. The Bandai SOC was! Blitzway preety much copied it and added a few gimmicks. The SOC set the bar for the new age voltron. Therefore being king! Imo. Thanks for the great video.
Ino, that's what I said. It's a literal clone of the SOC but all plastic. No Dicast, NoTwin Swords, no display base, and I hear this is really lightweight they definitely Overpriced this more 150-200$ plus I already have the SOC And Blitzway

I remember there being a Voltron with a buzz saw foot and they it disappeared. Finally found it and now I see why .
Yeah, that feature doesn't work well
A candid, first-rate review of Voltron and his accessories!
Long time no see! Thanks Aaron
@@TMReviews You're doing awesome work! 👍
Can you believe A Metalic Version of this is coming out?
Blitzway / Carbotix for life! Pass on the ThreeZero Voltron.
Word
Really fantastic and insightful review.

Only if this came out before Blitzway would have seemed a little better.. Nice Review ✨️😃
Paint looks good but with that build quality, I'm guessing who the winner of the versus will be. Nice video.
I am skipping the versus, not worth it

It’s blitzway for me awesome figure and it will be me voltron in my collection.. IMO
Yep, same here
I'll stick with My 35th Anniversary Diecast Voltron
Articulation definitely lackluster to me for a ThreeZero figure especially
it could be better but it's much better than the SOC Voltron. as solid as the SOC Voltron is, it is very less articulated and looked stiff.

I initially hoped since it was 3zero it would be a non transforming figure. It would have been cheaper and no kibble.
That probably would have been better for them to do as they really know how to make great action figures.
