Hi! As my property Guru 🙌 Could I ask for your opinion? We are buying an ex council house for £135,000 ( bought by current owners in 2005 for £105,000) in a small village where the current house prices are between£95,000 to £170,00. The house is in great condition, onyly improvements we can think of is the new kitchen and slightly improving the EPC from D to C. Because it is an ex council house the value increases is not and won't be too dramatic. ( We would love to remortgage and invest in BTL in 5 years ). There are two new developments just across the street with a selling price between £170,000/270,000. Do you think this will eventually help with our property value increases or not really? I'm starting to worry and thinking of stepping back on that house 😟
Would absolutely love to see the property in Basildon with side garden as I’m currently renovating a semi detached in York with side garden. If you could do a video on how to apply for planning permission to potentially build a property on it that would be so helpful
I think Jamie said in a previous video he has a few in his personal name... Depend on what your wanting. In your personal name you'd be looking to probably pay them off over time and have the Ltd on interest only. (Just my opinion)

Hi a quick question about a cellar in a property if you get dampproofing and tanking would it increase the value of a the property ?
It could do, but don't rely on it. It usually won't match the cost to do it

Yes indeed. Talk to an accountant of course with what’s best but I have a mix of both and building most of it up in Ltd companies now
