Thanks for taking the time to.make the video, its great looking bike, I fell in love with it when I first saw it. Hopefully mine will arrive in the next week or so. I never had any problems with the seat when I rode the demonstrator but I guess I will just wait and see how it goes in the long run. You get a decent sound out those pipes to.
I found the seat fine for short rides (10-15 min), but for anything more than 45 min I found it uncomfortable. I guess it depends on the person and how they ride, but I am glad I made the change. Hopefully you get yours soon and you can then compare.
Man that is sweet, the colour is actually unreal. It's the only cruiser that I'd genuinely be interested in riding. Love the changes too, the pipes & the seat make a big difference!
It is just so unusual to ride, and it gets lots of attention. More changes to come during the year. Probably add more lights, front and back, and maybe change the shocks too. Lots of power in the bike and really fun to ride.
The stock seat is poor on this bike. Thankfully the Corbin gives a lot more seat and grip. Now, I just need this bad weather to get lost, so I can ride.
hey thanks for the video! did you get the bike with the stock exhaust? I am trying to decide if I want to get the Miller slip ons as they cost over a grand, is the sound all the different from stock? (if you got the bike with the slip ons then dw lol) again thanks for the upload stay safe
No, I didn't get the pipes stock. I changed the pipes, shocks and then seat. I knew when buying the bike that I would be putting extra in, to make it more the way I wanted it. I just didn't like the look of the stock exhaust. They are just that bit too long. But there is also a much nicer sound from the Miller pipes.
I've not seen the Vance and Hines twin slash. But, since they are just slip on, they would be very similar in sound, or maybe just slightly louder. I know with mine, you can take the baffles out, to make it louder, but I find the noise level just right.
My dealer did the install, but it is simple. The mount points are in the rear fender. There are slots for it to connect in to, and then screws in from the side. All the brackets and connectors are there. You just pop off the rubber covers on top, and slot in the rack, and then secure in from the sides.
Best advice I can give - change the seat and change the shocks. If the roads are good and smooth, then the stock shocks might be alright for you. But, the stock seat is too small and doesn't give much support. There are a few options out there now for 3rd party seats.
I'm 6'1 and 230lbs. It's not THAT small a bike really. I sat on the new FTR and felt that was a tiny bike under me. The scout bobber feels good though.

The last Corbin seat I owned was many times better than the oem! You are justifiably proud of your new bike!

Thanks. Nice set-up. Just what I want to do with my 2019.
Jesus that is a thing of beauty !
I know it's all a question of personnal preference but I find the Bronze smoke being the best suited color for this bike, it's just plain awesome.
Willy Parrot that has become my favorite as well!!
very nice bike. I was really close to buying one but I quit it as eventually I was looking more into touring.
They are a great bike, but definitely not a touring bike.
@@photobiker4309 I'm used to touring on non touring bikes ;) But I think this one might be on another level ;) cheers mate
Awesome bike!! Ride safe.
The only cruiser that has got me lusting.
Beautiful bike.
Yea, you get it.
I ride a standard scout and Love the bobbed-out look, but don't want to sacrifice comfort for sexy looks (?)
Great looking bike

Hi, do you know the vance and hines twin slash slip on? Wich one is louder? Like giving a 10 to the louder one and then another note to the other.

What colors did you pick for your seat? just black leather on all 3 parts except for the welt?
I went with a black leather seating panels, asphalt side panels, ghost gray welts and black stitching
How did u install the luggage rack? I'm looking to get one and not sure about installation.

Where can I get the seat from? Been looking only found the brown one.
www.corbin.com - shop by make, select Indian, then Scout Bobber, then Order tab, and then "Design it". You can then select any colour, etc you want.
Photo Biker very cool. Thx
I love the look of the scout bobber but at 6' 2" 220lbs, I feel like I would be too big for the bike
