I was a fan of Funeral Mist since the times of Salvation and Maranatha. I waited more than 9 years for their return, and they did not disappoint. When I heard their first albums I thought: this is exactly how I think a Black Metal sound should be like. Perfection.
'Salvation' will always be one of my top 5 Extreme Metal Albums ever. I doubt Mortuus can reach that same level again, but this is still an amazing record nonetheless. And great job from Lars as always
Same. Salvation is on a whole other level. But mostly because of the dynamic drums that necromorbus did, and the amazing recording at necromorbus his studio. its a savage album that these later works cannot touch.

In my opinion the best since Salvation and for sure one of the best black metal releases in a long time. Playing it in the third round and no sign of weakness yet appearing.

Jesus saves, white stone are some of my favorite songs ever. I think i’ll need to listen through this new one a couple more times before i start to digest it

Saw this in my Feed didn't know what to expect but decided to click on it and holy shit I was blown away. The first song is absolutely incredible. The vocals are amazing and the album doesn't get stale for 1 second. One of thd best album I've heard in the last decade.
This whole album is perfect. The intro track twilight of the flesh gives me more chills than any metal track in my 25+ years of listening to black metal and its related subgenres.

After listening the album for about 5 or 6 times now I think DEIFORM is a stronger album than HEKATOMB except for the drum sound and I still miss Necromorbus' drum chaos from the earlier releases. Funeral Mist is still the best current black metal band.
