    I am so excited for this! Or maybe I’m not because feelings make me so uncomfortable. You explained that you being a black man makes it hard to express emotions other than aggression and now I’m feeling like I’m a black man because my entire life has been effected by my…fear of having certain emotions or experiences. I realize I avoid so much and it’s because I lack a sense of safety and freedom. I’ve always attempted to prevent someone close from rejecting or discarding me. No one can live like that.

    • @taviordontaemowry
      @taviordontaemowry  4 месяца назад

      I get that. I do believe the hardest part is done! You have identified what you feel and how that affects you. Now i would suggest taking steps in identifying that safety and freedom. We are made free through Christ, that's where I would look personally from a foundational standpoint.

    Listen, when he say “BLACK MEN” He dont speak for all black men! He speaking for himself cause most black men from my era has never been afraid to show emotions or be vulnerable. It made us feel authentic and powerful. He was a football jockey so of course he was probably cocky and arrogant until someone or something probably humbled his ass 💯🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @taviordontaemowry
      @taviordontaemowry  4 месяца назад +6

      What era are you from? I'm 30 sir. I have a pulse on what is happening currently. And yes you are correct, I don't speak for all black men, but who could? Just like how you assume to claim me as cocky and arrogant. Keep the stones on the ground. Thank you for the watch time. 💯

      @@taviordontaemowry Im 31 and I don’t respect how u put out this false narrative of how young black men was taught to not show emotions or feelings because it made u appear to be “soft”. Thats cap, maybe u didnt grow up with a father figure or role models u could look up to but many black men encourage one another to be vulnerable. And i said u was “probably” cocky or arrogant which most athletes are so it is what it is 💯
