What year is your V4R? I’m looking into a 2019 V4R but not sure what the differences are between like a 2019 and a 2021 for example Have you ridden an S? Heard the S is better for the streets (electronic Ohlins, more mid range torque) but honestly just love the dry clutch and theater that an R gives
@@CanIHazNumba1 mine is a 2024. I have never ridden a S but I also have heard that it is better suited for the road. People who have road both say the R is a special experience. As far as differences on the R models they have changed things internally in the engine, the winglets, the lower fairings, tank design and I know there were electronic changes. The RUclipsr 650ib says the bikes feel completely different from 19/20 to the 23/24.
The engine they use on R models are the ones they use in wsbk(999cc) its got less torque than the S and base models but they have more top end power, the base model and S model got the 1100cc engine which is more suited for the streets because it has more torque and less top end power. Also the service interval on R model is shorter than the S and base models.

@ all true except if only used for road use the maintenance is the same.
