- Cabarete Beach is on the North cost of the Dominican Republic about 15 minutes from Sosua Beach. Cabarete is a good option for a more laid back beach day. There are still some restaurants on the beach a little more upscale than Sosua Beach and a little less vendors nagging you to purchase a product or service.

Go to sosua to public beaches there you get vip service from local service. I love cabaret but it is not good to go at day time and don't know now with covid.

The food isn’t bad I’ve actually ate the before it’s just the service was terrible. I would have been willing to give them a break but when I went to the manager she just brushed us off like it was nothing not even an apology.
@@INTERNATIONALZOE that’s why I was going to give them a shot. I just left Sosua on Tuesday & went to Fast Freddie’s on the beach to support & waited 2 hours for my food to come. The only reason I didn’t leave was because I was with my boy & his family Never again. Lol
Facts....DR and Colombia is ran through Brazil is so big and cats only talk about Rio...Brazil has way more cities and ground to cover.....Brazil still runs circles around the rest

Definitely do it! But like Zoe said, avoid Mojito with their bad service!! That Chinese food looked GOOD as hell though, that's where I'll be next time! I went to a steak restaurant in Cabarete and that was good too!

@@JavedKhan-ox5qe I would suggest you download currency converter app on your phone you can get the currency daily rates there for any country. The apartment rentals on Airbnb are pretty affordable in Cartagena a little more in Medellin but I would say around $400-$500 a week in most nice apartments in good areas. In Medellin stay in Poblado and Cartagena stay in the walled city or Bocagrande.
