Regardless of my politics I have just been to Dubai in November and enjoyed every minute. The people are so lovely. I think you have to visit places like this that you may not agree with their standards and politics so you can have an honest opinion on. The people in this country are lovely and have to put up with a lot politically but that’s the same the world over. It was beautiful spotless and very welcoming. I hope you both enjoyed it 💖

Brought back so many wonderful memories for me. I spent part of my honeymoon in Dubai and went back a few times since. Dubai mall was a bit of a damp squib for me too. It was huge but everything was the same price or more expensive than home, except for salons where beauty treatments cost almost nothing (the hotels are far more expensive).The gold market is the place to visit if you’re looking for jewellery bargains. I miss it!

Its so disappointing seeing you post this comment as someone whos been a HUGE fan of yours forever. That place welcomed you dearly in rooms most people can never afford and you dont think its ok to say sorry for calling it tacky? it may not be to your taste but for someone like yourself whos been nothing short of refined to say "No need to be sorry lovely - it’s not my house haha" is so upsetting... its LITERALLY the equivalent of someone calling YOU tacky but its fine cause youre not their friend or spouse or whatever.
