It's funny but I just came home after a long Sunday working outside. It's been cooold -24C / -11F so I warmed up a cup of chicken/onion broth from the freezer to drink it while watching some RUclips... and there is your video! 😁 Yes it's a broth day! So good in winter!
Thanks for sharing! I never actually thought about roasting the bones before boiling. But if makes sense, roasting brings out more flavour. Must try that next time :)

Torp! Broth is so perfect for us. I try so hard to have good healthy food available for my family and broth is so easy. No additives like the ones you buy in the store. I am going to be roasting the bones from here on out, the broth came out fabulous. Enjoy the day and stay warm. It's 0F with a wind chill of -15 F here this morning. Catherine

Ms. Linda, you should give it a try. Truly helped to warm up the house while it roasted and then the body while we ate.

Perfect timing!! I haven’t been able to successfully make bone broth, or even a decent stock. This helps so much!!! Especially the tip about using multiple types of bones. I often freeze mine, so I can grab them all out at the same time. I really love that you can use the oven! I’m definitely going to try that way. Seems like I have to babysit stock on the stove. Thank you my friend!! ♥️👌🏼

I am SO GLAD that you got something out of this! It is super easy in the oven, almost as easy as the Instant pot, which is what I used with those bones for a second batch of bone broth. Let me know how it goes.

PG Nano Farm, it is so easy to do, and so wonderful for you, as you know exactly what is in it. I am planning to begin pressure canning, a new venture for me, so I can put these on the shelf instead of in my freezer. Enjoy the day! Catherine

Love it 😎 It just so happens that I picked up a book at the library last week called "Mastering Stocks and Broths" by Rachael S. Mamane. Published in the U.S. by Chelsea Green Publishing. It's amazing. I finished chapter 4 & haven't even got to the recipe section yet! LOL
I look forward to seeing the soup!

Marie Currie, I have never heard of the book, I'll have to see if I can get it through my library system. I hope you find some recipes in it that you will enjoy. The soup came out great, as did the broth, so easy. Have a great day! Catherine
