本当にすごい!! Being top 10 while actively managing this awesome channel. Kudos to you👍👍👍 If you dont mind, would you share some of your study tips and time management in a video one day? I'm also a med student and interested in learning languages such as japanese, spanish, and sign language, but I guess I didnt manage them as good as you do... Anyway, thank you for all your hardwork and for being a wholesome person. Salam dari Indonesia!
I love that you can remove the subtitles! I listen to everything once and then again with subtitles. I actually understood the main gist of everything. Or well, apart from the fact that you almost dropped your pants 🤣 Thank you for teaching onomatopoeia, they are so cool and used for so many different things!
It really helps a lot telling us onomatopoeia with a story behind it's way more easy to remember haha and you're so energetic althogut that i'm a bit down after watching you i don't feeling like that anymore :) thank you so much for doing this!!!
Your videos give me so much motivation for studying Japanese! I swear every time you post a video I get really excited and click right away. I've been studying for 4 years and your channel is definitely one of my favorite resources! Also, I study biochemistry where we have many pre-med students, and it's so much work, so it's really impressive how you make such high quality videos with such a workload. Congrats on the test result! 次の動画を楽しみに!応援するよ!
As someone from Brazil, learning the japanese language, your videos are really helpful. Thank you for making it available with such wonderful subtitles.
This is my first time watching your channel, I'm so glad I found it. You talked about the Taiwanese woman. I have a really good impression of the Taiwanese people. All the Taiwanese I have met are very friendly and kind.
I'm so glad I saw this in the morning. Congratulations on your exam results!!! You have a bright future ahead of you and we need good young, energetic, positive medics like you! I would start to feel better just be knowing you are my medic rather than an old hag. Going back to the video. I have started to do listening practice with it. I listen to every sentence, try to write it down in Japanese, if i don't know the kanji I look at subtitles. Then pause and try to translate, any unknown words I put in my dictionary. I propose something. What do you think of putting some questions at the end that ask for details you discussed prior in the video. Maby something about the actual story you tell us.
That’s so sweet😊 It’s really good to learn languages like that because if you remember what I said in Japanese, technically, you can express it😆 Actually I tried the similar idea before (I made you repeat sentences you learned in those videos) but I’m still trying to find the best way😉Anyway thank you!
Shocks!! I understand Japanese now lol not fully but your pronunciation and sentences are easy to understand :) I will use your video to learn more Japanese. Thank you!!!
In the rush hour, without a doubt it gonna be ぎゅうぎゅう Especially, the evening time when worker leave their office. When that happens, I couldn't even pull out the book from my backpack to read 🤣
I find your videos extremely easy to understand, despite you actually describing things, places and emotions with quite a lot of detail. Is there an approximate JLPT level that your "story videos" coincide with?
Omg the train story had me dead 😂 My thoughts went from "aww, that must have been pretty cool" to "omg nonononoooo" way too fast 😂 Also, I relate to the airport situation so much... my parents gave up on trying to pack within the acceptable range. We instead pray to our ancestors and offer them sacrifices before going to the airport and at the airport my parents conduct a thorough psychological analysis of the check-in airport staff to see who is the most likely to let us through... Works around 20% of the time! 😄

We also have packed trains in my country. Once, while entering the ladies compartment it was so crowded and the push was so strong that my spects flew right off 🤣🤣 I tried searching for them but couldn't find at all. i just discovered your channel and i really love your videos! im subscribing:) also i think you have a very soothing voice❤ i could listen to you all day xD
Yup, happened to me while on the evening train back to my hotel in Tokyo ( my 1st time in Japan btw ), 1st thing in my mind was how on earth am I gg to get off at my stop, but I needn't worry actually, coz they were so considerate to create space for those getting off !
i remembered during rush hour in Tokyo, my feet also floated, I was sandwhich between salary men. Not an experience I would want to repeat. So I made sure I wouldn't get on the train during rush hour anymore. Enough. That was really scary.
its strange to kinda understand what he saying, I don't study Japanese, but I become so used to hear and kinda learned some words, I can understand the subject and kinda what is being said about the subject. I need to take my time and study hard Japanese, I only know some kanji and kinda know some hiragana and katakana.
That's immersion learning at it's best. I only learn this way. No need to pay a fortune for classes. Check out www.refold.la for more information about immersion learning. It has a large community for Japanese.
I definitely had this experience during one of my trips to Japan. I was first in line waiting on the platform to board the train, but when it pulled up and the doors opened, there were soooo many people on it already that my first thought was "Oh, it's full, I guess I'll just wait for the next one", but the people behind me were kind of swarming and pushing forward to get on, so somehow I ended up jammed in there, too. I'm not usually in situations where my body is fully smashed up against multiple strangers, lol. Everyone was avoiding eye contact and standing silently like they were pretending they were alone in the train, except for a group of 3 jr-high-school-looking boys near me that kept making faces and saying 痛い or 苦しい or whatever to make each other laugh. Trying not to laugh at them was a good distraction... thank you, children.
I've experience floating on train too haha i'm not that small tho, but people keep getting in to the train and pushing me from all direction, i had to stand on my toes like ballerina, and without realizing i'm on the air www in indonesia before pandemic, we have rush hour as well, whenever i went to campus with morning or evening train it's really packed T.T
I always start watching the videos with the intention to train my Japanese reading or listening skills. But halfway through, I get distracted by how entertaining he is (Hahaha!). It ends up with me subconsciously just reading the English subtitles to enjoy his expressions and actions. Haha! I know it's the wrong purpose, but I'm treating Onomappu as more of an entertainment channel, rather than an educational channel for now. Sorry! I will try to be a more hardworking student. (Hopefully, you don't become more entertaining and distract me from being a hardworking student!) Hahaha!
Hmm... In all honesty I learned this gyuu gyuu thing but not in school or in here but rather from a manga... A BL manga lol~ most of the onomatopoeia I know is something I learned from there haha~ 例えばだらだら、ぷにぷに、びんびん、ぴくんぴくん、びしょびしょなどよ。笑~
OK, I can imagine how the situation was with those onomatopoeia haha I hope I can teach some of them on Instagram someday (I can’t teach them on RUclips😝)
I was once in a "gyuu gyuu" situation in Taipei at a night club. It was in a basement and people just kept coming in. It finally got so crowded no one could move! I felt that it was really dangerous so I squeezed and squeezed through people until I almost go to the stairs to go up and out. Right then, the Taipei police raided the club and asked for everyone's ID. It was a gay club, and I think the police were doing that quite frequently back then to check for drugs because they thought that if it's a gay club, there must be drugs! After the ID check, we left, but I think the party continued. The police didn't seem to care about the safety situation of the crowd--like if the place caught on fire. I was happy to leave though although it could have been a fun night if it hadn't been so gyuu gyuu!
Anyway.... My dad always said, if you're scared of shots/needles, you should focus on your breathing. So, as a kid, I focused on my breathing... But I would breath really fast. Panting like a dog... The nurse said, "Don't do that, you're going to pass out." hehe
I guess the most recent gyuu gyuu moment would involve my stomach and a very large Christmas meal.
Good sentence haha
Gyuugyuu of yummy food🥴
