Definitely has much more of a homey/friendly vibe and he's much more relaxed. Even at the qualifer he was admittedly not playing well at all but his attitude was better overall than it has been other times. Just seems like a genuinely good dude.

Much more important things in life than feeling proud of a man who is well off in life who had a bad round of golf for the internet will see. Iam sure he is going to be ok. Tell your loved ones you are proud of them, not to someone you have never met.

Micah, the only thing holding you back from breaking through on a bigger stage is you. You have a great swing, you hit it a country mile, your iron game is really good and your putting....needs improvement. 😁 I honestly feel that the difference between you shooting an 86 or a 70 at the Q is solely between your ears. I know you try and convince us that you're calm, confident and a chill on camera but I don't think you really feel that way. Once you actually get there, I think you'll put a beat down on anyone you play in these YT matches and perform really well in tournaments. Keep grinding!

Exact opposite of good advice. There isn't some "mental switch" shortcut where you change your attitude and start shooting in the 60's. You change your attitude to "I need to get better at golf, and that happens by practicing." Then go practice a lot more at hitting the ball where you need to.

@@solson223 No man, that's just not true. "Mental Game" is his excuse because he doesn't actually have the skills needed to hit the ball where he wants to every time. It's dodge, a crutch, a band-aid for his ego. It's very true that every top level pro has high levels of self-belief.....but that's not the thing that separates them! It's their golf skills! HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people have the strong mental game. It's a minimum condition, a necessary but not sufficient. It's what pros worry about AFTER they develop elite ball striking, approach play, short game etc. Micah does not have the tools, he has toxic positivity.

Seeing your swing repeated that quick is crazy. The muscle memory is insane, from upper body to foot placement. Really shows how consistent you have to be to play at your level. Great video!

Micah, we all have those "dumpster fires" don't let them get you down... Today I played so bad on the front nine, it was like I was playing golf in the dark... Then I shot 11 strokes better on the back nine.. I would have done better but I messed up on the last two Holes...
I did the same thing. Granted it was earlier in the season and I was shaking the rust off. Started 10 over on the front and ended 1 over on the back.

Actually my favorite video in awhile. Authentic, grinding, and a little comical. Great job. I shot my best score then shot 20 strokes worst 2 days later at a course that didnt fit my game and poor course management. Keep hustlin 💪

I think working on your club distances just like Bryson Dechambeau and your improved mental attitude has changed your game more than anything I have seen. The best players, not the most talented, are the ones who work the hardest and as a result find ways to play their best. You are headed in that direction, great job Micah!
I am also a scratch golfer and feel your pain. Just shot 86 at a local low amateur qualifier myself… doesn’t feel good, but tournament golf is hard and a whole different animal! Keep your head up big dog!
