Hi, I’ve been in Porto Pollo very often… a couple of years ago…. Loved the windsurfing spot there….always wanted to go back- so I am happy to follow you around to see that wonderful island again- thx
👍 I've practiced my favorite sport and Windsurfed in lakes and around the coastlines of Italy, and from the mainland to Sicily also, but it is always delightful to watch others performing the same sport and giving their own opinions of their experiences throughout their actions.
Always nice to go somewhere new. I went in May 2005 for 3 weeks, drove down in my van from the UK. I parked up at the campsite on that island there. Then 2 laps of the island chasing the wind. So many nice places and beaches. Alghero light westerly sea breezes. Waves at Chia and Notteri in a southerly wind. Porto Botte in NW winds for flatter water. I never made it to Fontanamare where I heard its good for cross on winds in a NW. Plus a lot of other places I didnt go to which I guess you have read about on the internet. Have a good trip, looking forward to the videos.

Hi Nils, I'm going to Porto Pollo since 2014, basically every year and since 2018 with the kids. They even started surfing there. I took a lot of amazing experiences there, for example stormy conditions (I kept surfing with 4,7 or 5,0 while everyone else used 4,0) but also surfing next to dolphins.

I have never been to Sardinia before. So I'd be happy to see the wave spots around. Might go there with my son for Easter holidays. Have a good time before the home season at Steinhuder Meer is kicked off.

Wow wow wow! that’s what I call DREAMY CONDITIONS!!!
To the west of Porto Pollo there is "Porto Liscia" with more constant winds from the West, flat sea there too, you can also go there by leaving Porto Pollo directly by sea by windsurfing. Compared to Porto Pollo you can make longer edges and the wind, always towards the west, is better. look on Google Maps, there is a small road with many curves that takes you directly there. weekend I'll be there if it's windy from the west. if you need info on other spots in Sardinia let me know.

@@markusrapke7390 Feel free to ask for other spots and information on the winds. there is a website where you can find live webcams of the spots. paniramicams. some spots like Porto Pollo also have a weather station with wind intensity and direction.

My favorite spot porto pollo,great wind ,great sea,some spot around,yes Sardegna is my best place,porto pollo strong wind spot in italy,work with W, NW,N, NE,SE winds, 30 /40 knt is normal to find,enjoy the spot💪🤙🤙👋
If you are travelling around you should check out in the southwest Sant'Antioco - the guys at Sa Barra are always on fire. Buggeru is a good spot too.
Go to La Pelosa in Stintino...amazing place for windsurf!
is it a wave spot or slalom/freerace?
@@WindsurfingNils both, is similar to Porto Pollo, but in my opinion the place is so much better! In this spot they very often test the challengers and the RRD
