Yep loved it! Got my kids lessons... fantastic experience for them. Love the way the mountain is naturally divided between the Green/Blue/Black areas. For beginners this really keep us out of trouble. ... and great video to show us beginners what the tougher terrain looks like.

Went a couple years ago because it was the most affordable place to ski in Colorado. Came not expecting much, left cherishing the best skiing experience in my whole life! This video makes me want to go back. Btw. That enchanted forest is something else, also the runs off the super bee are all fantastic like he said. Furthermore, some of the glades off of the greens in the middle are amazing. Nice mellow tree skiing.

I think it is the most scenic mountain in Colorado. The Rendevois lift is beautiful. The view at the top is astounding. Aspen is got some great views too.

Heading their for the first time this week! It's the only resort in summit county I haven't been to yet. I appreciate your videos. Very helpful

Burt, great video as usual, and I appreciate your descriptions of terrain, layout, etc., I took the bus to the far left lodge (as you look up the hill). There is a small locker room there. Upstairs is the cafeteria. I saw no place to check skis for free. In the east they leave boot bags in any/all lodges, few use lockers. I liked Copper a lot, rode the snow cat from the backside to a rather intimidating ridge, but got down safe.

@Satellitegirl41 You'll love Copper - really cool place and they've gotten hammered with snow this year so far - I'm sure you've been watching! Have a great time!

Great video. Thank you. I’ve skied Vail and Snowmass and way preferred Vail. But I’ve heard Copper is amazing. Did you hear about one of their gondolas falling to the ground? Scary.

@CollinSmithable Copper is definitely going to be the best of all of those for some good down home Summit County action. Keystone is good for night riding but all of those I-70 resorts get a little too zoo-ed. Beaver Creek is the absolute ritz - but for being so luxe and monied, it's great! I've haven't made it up to ride in Montana, I want it though! The snow is as bad as I can ever remember here at the moment - wish I was in Montana. Thx

@bertthad im going to colo. Feb 15 and hitting keystone (night), Vail, beaver creek and copper. And copper excites me the most.. I usually board at big sky, jackson, bridger and my 'gem' in Montana, red lodge.. check it out if youre ever in billings .. cole creek is great even for a boarder. Tons of snow here at the moment

I remember decades ago Copper had one of the highest scariest chairlifts, that I was ever on. Do you remember that chair?

what would be better copper mountain or breckenridge? They both look very good for greens and blues.

      Copper

Copper mountain has much more sustained vertical than breckenridge, also cheaper.

do the long blacks on the left side have a lot of bumps? And the blacks in general here. I snowboard and love steep but hate moguls.

Been skiing Copper since 1972, the year it opened. It is my favorite front range resort by far and in some respects tops Vail as a skier friendly area where you can get in huge amounts of vertical in one day if that’s your goal.

8:21 You cannot ski down to the road for two reasons. 1. Its incredibly dangerous and unstable. 2. It's against the law and you will be arrested once you reach the road. I worked at Copper from 2012-2014 and yes people tried this and all of them were reported to authorities and their pass was taken.
